Hm, after leaving Taiwan 2 weeks ago and eating here, 19Gold is reasonably taiwanese. You can’t beat the prices in Taiwan. Bowl of Beef rice is $2-3/bowl vs stateside for $8. Plus the motherland is better typically in flavor. 3.5 star out of 5.The Mala noodles? I don’t like the 5-spice but it’s good. Comparable to the motherland. 3.75 star. The beef noodle? Solid enough 3.75 star. The popcorn chicken? Very good, 4 star. The fried Chinese doughnut? Average 3.5 star. Good execution in frying it but it’s off somehow, probably the dough. The green milk tea with grass jelly? Very good, 4.5 star.Food overall? 4 star. Price and value? I’ll round up to 5 bc Seattle is expensive and everything else in Taiwan is half or 1/3 the price so you can’t compare.

This place is honestly gross; I don't know why it's still in business. The popcorn chicken was visually doubtful, eating it removed all doubt - it was tough, poorly seasoned, and tasted like cheap, old chicken. The soups are very light broth with chili oil and a lot of filler dumplings. Low, low quality food served here.

This place introduced me to brown sugar milk tea. I am a huge bubble/boba tea fan but had not had it before.Their food is amazing and a great price. I would often call ahead and then drive by in my way home with the goods.I often after therapy would run in, order a milk tea at their kiosk, and then just sit and chill while they make it.Staff is very nice and it's a good vibe.

Food is subpar and the soups were tepid. The cuts of beef in the beef noodle soup were not of high quality. I’ll give an extra star for effort and offering a cuisine that is rare in the Seattle area, but the dinner left a lot to be desired.

One of my favorite restaurants in Fremont! Yummy food at reasonable prices and staff are super nice. Recommend ordering their hotpot soup, popcorn chicken, and green onion pancake. Their boba is great but more on the sweet side (you can adjust the sugar level anyway).

The Mala udon is the go to dish here. The udon has a good texture to it and is bouncy. There is a good atmosphere to the restaurant but parking can be quite tricky to find. Service has been great here.

Each time I go there, it's an incredible experience. Without fail, I order the Veggie Malatang (get the super rich broth), which comes with an incredibly flavorful broth that is truly one of a kind. To complement the dish, I always choose one of their delicious teas to pair with the spicy flavors.

The food is great, the customer service could use some improvements. Unfortunately the waitresses weren't loving of the dietary restrictions of our party. And was just saying yes to everything even though there may have been a language barrier. The experience was poor and the waitresses weren't very helpful as it was expected we just use the online ordering system which was not very straightforward. The lunch special is quite confusing, and they were not in the mood to explain it. Food was 5 stars, and service was 2.

Got tomato seafood malatang (9/10)! Popcorn chicken (8.5/10), fried fish tofu (6.5/10). Twice roasted japanese milk tea (9/10)

Update: tried the beef noodle soup this time -- also delicious! I also had some nibbles of the garlic string beans, radish cake, and scallion pancake all of which were fantastic. Come here for some amazing taiwanese food!!
