Easily the best Ethiopian in the Seattle area. It’s not close. The vegetables are seasoned and crisp or tender as they should be. The lentils are soft but not mushy. The meat is spicy, deeply flavorful, and always tender. They have a range of spicyness to cater to both your wimp friends and your heat seekers. The owners, managers, cooks, and servers are all friendly and just the right amount of attentive. The interior decor is cute and welcoming. Everything about this place is phenomenal.I’ve been to about a dozen other Ethiopian spots in Seattle. Not one comes even close to Ahadu.Vegetarian options: The vegetable combo/sampler is lovely
First time having Ethiopian food. And it was a great experience thanks to the staff here and the food quality was phenomenal. Would love to try again. Had the ahadu combo which comes with 3-4 meat dishes and 2-3 different vegetarian options on their special soft bread. Loved every bite

Great experience and awesome Ethiopian food. The spices were perfect and we couldn't finish it all.

Well what a huge disappointment! One of the worst meals I've ever eaten out. I love Ethiopian food, the variety of flavors is exciting, but this was not that. No side dishes just a big bowl of over cooked under seasoned tough and chewy meat bits. Yuck! Didn't eat it, hope the dogs like it. The other dish, chicken was equally as boring, again no side dishes, 60 dollars for what would become dog and chicken food. Oh and to add to it the horrible plastic to go container leaked oil all over my car floormat. Thanks for that... Never ever again. There are much better choices for beautiful delicious Ethiopian food!

What a huge disappointment! The server was not friendly, and the food was horrible. No side dishes, just a bowl of dried chewy meat. A terrible boring salad. And to make matters worse when taking the 60$ of food home for the dog and chickens, the plastic container had a hole in the bottom and leaked grease on to my car floor mat, thanks I've never been here before but love Ethiopean food, definitely won't be back! Seattle has other great friendly and delicious Ethiopian food! What a pity.
