Tasty and interesting coffees. I think there was a mixup with one of the coffees we ordered as we asked for one unsweetened coffee and neither of them were unsweetened, but both were good. It was very busy when we came and they don't have a ton of seating so it'll be hit or miss whether or not you can get a spot. Definitely worth a try if you are nearby

Get aroom... in Vancouver, please. Aroom is one of my favourite coffee shops and has become a staple in my Seattle itinerary. So far, I've only tried the Sesame Latte ($6.75), Gloomy Matcha ($6.75), and Galaxy Drink ($5.50), and the winner by far is the Sesame Latte. Yes, it is on the pricier side, but it is truly tiered perfection: the top layer is the creamy sesame foam, which has a subdued sweetness; the middle layer is the nutty Vietnamese coffee; and the bottom layer is the sweet condensed milk. There are also modifications available for milk, ice, and sweetness. What might be sweeter than the drinks is the service itself, which is very friendly, professional, and efficient. Once your drink is ready, your buzzer will go off. Aroom has a sign which explicitly says to let them know if you are unsatisfied with your drink so that they can make it right. Coming in solo, I've also asked to leave my drink behind the counter while I use the washroom. If I lived in Seattle, I can imagine myself coming to Aroom on the regular. The space is modern with high ceilings, natural light, and plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor. It’s a great place to get some work done or catch up with friends over drinks.

The coffee is great but they need to improve the parking availability for pick up and go customers. They put a lot of chairs and tables for people who drink their coffee in-store. Those people take all the already limited parking spots. People who want to just buy coffee and go have nowhere to park. It's not a good experience to buy coffee there simply because of this. They need to cut down the amount of tables and chairs, and have a dedicated parking spot for pickup customers.

50 Shades of Black Sesame Latte? The BSL has me in a chokehold. Best Black Sesame Latte around… often imitated, never duplicated… Aroom is the gold standard in the PNW ⭐️ BSL has consistent and perfect taste…I’ll never forget you…

Would recommend the black sesame latte - it’s delicious and you can ask for a less sweet version which isn’t on the menu!

The drinks were fine but it’s definitely not a cafe where you can study or want to have a one on one conversation. The cafe buzzer to let you know your drink is done is incredibly annoying and loud especially with how crowded the cafe gets. Better to grab and go.

This feels more like a dessert shop rather than a coffee shop to me. I've tried their sesame latte, and it was too sweet. When I asked the staff for a less sweet option, I tried the Saigon drown, but it was still too sweet for my taste. If you don't have a sweet tooth, you might not enjoy their drinks as much. However, the service and space are good. I just wish they had some unsweetened options available.
