Love this spot before Kraken games. The prices are very reasonable for downtown Seattle, and the staff is excellent. We always enjoy it here!

It was such a wonderful experience. I was at Bahn Thai about 10 days ago. And I was so pleased with the total experience. We were short on time because we had a couple of things planned after and it was my last day in Seattle. Shawn was absolutely wonderful. All dishes are custom made and due to my dietary restrictions, I always have limited options. But even through the limited options, this was the best Thai food I have had in a while. Everything was so perfectly blended and even though all the dishes on the menu are made to order, they were all cooked to perfection!Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian/vegan options. I am allergic to eggs unless mixed in cakes. I normally avoid Thai food because most places still have an after taste of egg and sometimes it still affects me with my allergy. But at Bahn Thai my experience was very different. There was no after taste of eggs and the dish did not even smell like eggs. It was such a great experience and I would definitely go back!

Amazing Thai curry!! The drinks are amazing too! You can pick your heat, which for a spicy lover like me meant level 5 of 5 which made a lovely sweat but the Thai Comfort iced tea cooled down. The best selection of vegetarian dishes as well. The green curry tofu was $18 and I paid additional $3 for white rice.Vegetarian options: You request most items to be vegetarian

I'm always on the hunt for the best pad Thai in Seattle and this place hits the spot. I did take out after a long ski day and was very happy with it.

Good food in a nice space! This is the oldest Thai restaurant in Seattle, and they make that clear from the sign outside haha. We had a large group and made a reservation ahead of time, but didn't really need it since it wasn't too busy inside. I tried the black rice pudding dessert which was pretty good - the black rice was well cooked, and the sweet coconut milk complemented it well. I did think it was a little too salty though. I also tried some of the pad see ew and drunken noodles, both of which were pretty good. This spot has all your classic Thai dishes, and do them pretty well but nothing too outstanding. It is also quite a lot pricier than some other spots. Nonetheless, service was very nice and friendly, and we had a good experience!

Oldest Thai restaurant in Seattle! This is has been around 1984 and been slinging the best Thai food this side of the lake- big portions and flavor are the norm here.I love the fact that it’s in a house and you can feel the family vibe

I'm reviewing this a year after visiting because I constantly think about the garlic chicken I had. Easily top 5 meal of my life. Highly recommend.

Food was good but creepy dude popped out the back and just stared at me until I signed my receipt made me feel very uncomfortable. Not sure if he thought I was gonna pay or stick the place up. I'm only giving 4 stars because the sweet and sour chicken was prepared fast and was pretty good.

Great tasting food. I went for 1 star and it was perfect for just a little extra kick to my chicken pad Thai. Location is close to Climate Pledge Arena, convenient for a pre event meal.

This is my favorite Thai Restaurant in Seattle, and for this region that's saying something. There is something truly special about their Phad Tha, maybe a special type of tamarind? I can't resist it! All their meet is deliciously grilled, you can't go wrong.

Decided to head over after seeing it was one of the closest options around where I'm staying in. From the outside, it looks movie-like (old building, cute stairs and sign). Once I went in, I realized that the restaurant is meant for in-person dining, as they're doing the full-on glassware, decor, music, candle-like setting, etc., so it felt like I had done the right choice by not ordering online. I was received by one of the waiters (no host/hostess on-site) with an "are you picking up?" question rather than a "Hi", "Welcome", or "Do you have a reservation?", which I found a bit odd given the initial impression of an upscale experience. I brushed it off and asked for a table for one. Got seated looking towards the wall and against the staff (brushed that off as well), and started looking at the menu. Spent around 10 minutes waiting for anyone to acknowledge me and take my order (having to do a 180 every couple of minutes) until a very kind waitress noted and asked if I had been taken care of. From then, the service got better immediately (kudos to her). I ordered the chicken panang curry and realized that rice should be ordered separately, so I did. The latter was cooked perfectly but the curry itself was extremely sweet, which I didn't expect. I hadn't gone with the Pad-Thai given other reviews I had previously read of it being too sweet, but I guess it's their signature style here. I successfully consumed about half of it and got tired of the lack of balance between the flavors. The sweetness overtook the plate. At the end, I was very glad I ordered that beer. It may be a comfortable spot for Thai food amateurs but I'd choose a different location if going for authentic flavors.

Me and my sister stopped in here last minute around dinner hours to grab some appetizers and a couple glasses of wine before going to the local ballet! It was super packed and host said they were completely booked but insisted on trying to get us a table and they did!! Host was so incredibly kind and amazing for being able to fit us in even though they were totally full! We mentioned to the server we were going to the show later and they brought out our appetizers and drinks super quick! 10/10 service! We got the fried spring rolls and fried tofu, I got a glass of their Chardonnay and sis got a glass of their Riesling, everything tasted amazing!! Definitely going to come back here again for a full meal!

The BEST service I’ve had in a really long time! The host was so kind and mindful of events happening in the area and asked if we had any time constraints. Portions are HUGE and so delicious. Definitely found my go to spot!
