great neighborhood chinese spot. got take out, and food was all done how you'd like it - full of flavor, cooked quickly in a wok to maintain texture of ingredients, and not overly greasy. reasonable prices and good options for any vegetarians in your group (just make sure to ask if things that look like vegetarian dishes have oyster sauce in them). the woman running the place is a sweetheart too. will definitely be back especially to try the lunch special and make this a regular takeout spot!

This is a local Chinese neighborhood restaurant. My family has been going here for years. Fabulous dim sum and delicious dinner menu. Our son recently got married and chose to have a “Chinese wedding Banquet”. I am Chinese my husband is Scottish. A few months ago we had a family tasting party (that’s how we chose our banquet menu.. it was truly hard to keep our total dishes to 10-11. The food is so good.Chrystal and Grant were instrumental in all things, set up, food ideas, and execution. We had 90 people in the restaurant, the food was fabulous, service was excellent.. I don’t know how they did it all. Of course the Chef was totally on top of everything.I cannot say enough good things. It is a small restaurant but our party was a success .. people are still talking about the food… the parking lot is small but no one seemed to have had a problem finding street parking that night. My posting is a very well know Scottish bagpiper in Seattle named John McBride. Probably the first time he played at a Chinese banquet was at our wedding banquet many years ago.. the second time was at our sons.Bamboo village is fantastic for lunch, dinner and parties.. I know many of our friends will be heading back to try more dishes. I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work!!

Food- Delicious! it came pretty fast (5-10mins) and was very tasty. We got the Wednesday lunch special, pork potstickers and Spicy eggplant, all of which were not too oily and very delicious. 5 stars. Service was fine, our waiter was quick and nice. However what drags this restaurant down was the bathrooms. A bit dingy, but the toilet was clean. There were no paper towels and hardly any soap left. The urinal was also out of service, with a tape line to show it. OVERALL, great restaurant with a couple small things to fix.

Wow, the dim sum is the best we’ve ever had and the prices are super affordable. We tried Din Tai Fung next day and didn’t enjoy it as much as Bamboo village, can’t wait to go again next week. Try the Shu Mai, Honey Garlic pork, and Shrimp Salad Balls!

So good! Better than Jade Garden in Chinatown imo. Ordered 5 dim sum dishes and each were a hit. Don’t skip the 蘿蔔糕!Affordable and cute decor with lots of natural light for Seattle.

I am a caretaker for my brother with dementia, so we usually order lunch specials to take home. Is their food delicious? Absolutely! They have all the favorites, and their pork egg roll is one of the best I've ever had. The best part, specifically for the lunches, is the tremendous amount of food you get for $12.Quick note, the place is deceptively huge. From the outside it looks small, but they have a larger than average dining area. All in all, great little neighborhood chinese restaurant:)

7-11 in North Dakota is a better restaurant than this. You know how you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover? This is the exception that proves the rule. It looks like a three year old bought a lego set of a Chinese restaurant, lost half of the pieces, and decided to base the menu on clearance items from WinCo. If you’ve ever been to a good place with good service, just check this place out, because you’ll realize that even Taco Bell, by these standards, deserves a Michelin star.

Got dim sum there recently. Here is what I got. Turnip Cake 3/5. Texture was good. Crispy on the outside. Soft on the inside. Could have used more flavor. Pork and thousand year egg congee 1/5. Way too watery, no flavor, no ginger, no geeen onions. Barely any pork or egg. Probably the worst item on the menu. Very disappointing. Siu Mai 5/5. Very good and flavorful! Chicken Feet 5/5. Very good and flavorful! Beef Chow Fun 3/5. Beef was very flavorful but the noodles itself lacked any flavor. Overall so so place for dim sum. As a Hong Kong native, very disappointed about the porridge. One of the easiest dish to make right.

Been staring at this place for 8 years and finally remembered it for lunch. Didn't get photos because it was just the basic stuff, but it's great to know that there's a Chinese food restaurant in an area I frequent. The host/server seemed a little short with me, but I've worked in the service industry for a long time so I understand. I ordered shrimp bean curd rolls, but unfortunately I was thinking of 'red bean paste' so it wasn't what I really wanted. Still great, and the crispness was satisfying.I'll be sure to come back for more dishes when I'm in the area, and I'll be sure to bring a friend or my husband when I can.
