Pretty large, clean cafe. Very quick service, probably the best Almond Croissant I've ever had, I assume that's why it was $7.

Pistachio croissant was solid, coffee like any other Cafe. Service and the woman making the espresso absolutely ruined the morning with rude and condesending way of speaking. Miscommunication between whomever rang up the order and whomever made it, made us feel like we were at fault and an extreme inconvenience to them.

This is a good European Espresso and bakery. It was delicious. The ham and egg croissant went well with their robust coffee, Full of flavor. I will have the coffee black next time. I really enjoyed the staff and the decor. It was worth the price, not much more than StarTrucks and was better in every way.

A coffee sandwich pastry oasis that reminds me of Italy. Parking is not always available.

Stopped by for a croissant today. 7$ and the croissant was mediocre. The lady threw the croissant down on the counter without looking at me or saying anything and then I was promoted to decide between a 2 or 3$ tip. Very off-putting. Prefer pastries and coffee next door at Arosa.

Had an odd experience with the staff here. I walked in and was promptly ignored for a period of time. Finally I was acknowledged and taken care of. The odd part though was when the manager, I guess (dressed better than the others) was rudely issuing commands to the other employees there. You could just tell he felt very entitled to his position and this was status quo. The way that employees interact with each other says a lot about what's going on behind the scenes in an establishment. It made me so uncomfortable that I almost opened my mouth to stick up for the others. Next time I go in, if I witness the same thing I most likely will not be able to hold my tongue.

Food and coffee are good. The staff - sadly, they act quite detached and not at all welcoming. I hope they can improve their customer service to match the food quality. And "please" don't put water out for dogs unless staff can maintain it.

If you're ever feeling down on your luck and you need to change your life in some way... Walk into the doors of Belle Epicurean and order the S'mores Cookie. Upon digestion, everything should be just fine.

Hands down best croissant I’ve ever had. Just the right amount of crispiness with the scrumptious buttery flavor.

I have gone to Belle Epicurean for many years and have always enjoyed their bakery items and sandwiches. Last Saturday I purchased five cakes for a dinner event and a biscuit. Initially I could not get anyone to help me. I literally had to go to the cash register twice and ask to be helped since no one would come down to the end of the display case where the cakes were located that I wanted to purchase. One staff member looked at me and just turned her head away. The second staff member didn't acknowledge me, and the third staff person after asking again if someone could help me finally acknowledged me and unwillingly helped me. I paid a 15% tip which I should not have done. When paying for my order I thought the charge was a lot higher than it should have been and asked for a receipt. After doing this the staff member said she had accidentally over charged me for two extra cakes and said she'd apply the credit. I saw the credit amount on their point of sale processor and asked if I needed to do sign for or do anything to process the credit. I was told there was nothing I needed to do. However, after the terrible service and clear over charge I felt something was still wrong. Two days I check my bank account and the original purchase cleared my bank but not the credit. I was scammed. I will never go back to Belle Epicurean. Terrible service, rude staff, and deliberate overcharging me for items I did not order.

Please save your money and go elsewhere. I can’t even believe the audacity this bakery has to sell clumpy watered down matcha lattes and hot chocolate that taste like dirty water. This place needs some serious revamp in terms of what they’re serving. I’m so mad I spent money at this establishment. There is also lack of flow. The barista writes the drink order on a piece of paper by hand and uses a magnet to place it on the espresso machine. They forget to write the name sometimes so the baristas just yell out what the drink is and leave it on a mat with no label on the cups to who the drink belongs to. A simple label machine would avoid such chaos.Staff are nice and very sweet. I can’t blame them for the lack of quality in the drinks as they are just following instructions per management/owner. The staff did offer to make a different drink but I did not want to taste more disappointment.

If the owners would get the silver spoon out of their mouth and treat this business as an actual business they have something viable.Unfortunately, they maxed all of their skill points out on the culinary tree and are utterly incompetent otherwise. It's clear when your entire staff is turned over every few months it's no longer "we can't find good employees". It's "we aren't good employers". Read the other reviews. This is not an isolated incident. They allow disdain and tension to foster in the workplace and when asked to address it they bury their heads in the sand. They will do the same for any problem that arises. I was told I was making others feel "unsafe" at work. Which is laughable because I am the least threatening person. The real reason was because others just could not accept a white straight male in a position of authority. Instead of stepping in and rectifying the issue when brought to their attention I was ignored. It went from "you have owner's eyes George we want to promote you to co-manager and give you a raise" to radio silence when I requested mediation. You allowed the wool to be pulled over your eyes so easily it's concerning that you guys even own assets. Why are my needs any less important than others Carolyn? Does my skin color and sexual orientation warrant less compassion than others? Why are every single one of your employees either gay, trans, or black? Racism and bigotry works both ways.Honestly a lot of the blame resides with O'Ryan, the walking stereotype but I won't even get into that. Carolyn and Howard put her in a position of power and had the authority to step in but simply chose not to.By the way, I'm sure Howard will take the time to respond to this review. While you're at it why don't you respond back to the multiple text messages I have sent and provide closure to what an absolutely disappointing experience my employment at Belle.Edit: You seem to have a lot of "disgruntled employees" leaving your cafe. You know what they say. If you walk around smelling trash all the time. Check your upper lip first. Cheers Howard. Time will reveal the truth. You will reap what you have sewn.

I have been visiting this store since it's very first opening. It has since had new owners and it has gone downhill dramatically. The pastries are barely worth it, the coffee isn't good, and the cost is just too high. There are flies everywhere and the floors don't look like they've been cleaned in years. The staff are so unorganized and have no idea what they are doing. I blame management for this, not the kids or young people that work there. This store used to be great before new owners took over, used to be my families go-to for people from out of town, but now our neighborhood knows this place is terrible and to not touch it with a ten foot poll.
