Classic and creative cocktails

This place is so cozy, and we loved coming here for a nightcap after a long day of showing our friends, visiting from San Francisco and LA, around the city. We walked by before dinner and were excited to pet their puppy. He's enormous, and we thought he was fake at first until we saw him moving around, lol. The owners were friendly and accommodating of us, even taking the time to give a backstory to them starting this beautiful lounge and bringing some of their SoCal vibes into the mix. We didn't order dinner but did order some apps, so we'll have to come back for the food because some folks in here ordered and it smelled delicious. The cocktails are the star of the show here; you really can't go wrong. There's clearly care in how they craft their cocktails, and we were really happy to have chosen this place to end our night. I highly recommend it. It's good for groups, dates, and business. We will definitely be back!

One of the worst experiences I've ever had in Seattle. To start things off we got sat down and without being that busy it took 25 minutes for someone to finally come over to take our order. The only good thing about this place was the cocktail even though we were only able to have one due to no one ever coming back to our table to see if we wanted another round. The most disappointing thing was the charcuterie platter which looked like someone's used plate that had been brought from another table. This establishment really needs to consider its service and its food because it was absolutely appalling

Belmont Cocktail Bar provided exceptional service, accommodating a group of 10 with ease on a busy Saturday night. The server was attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. The drinks were a standout, boasting a variety of amazing options. However, the vegetarian food selection was somewhat limited. Despite this, the combination of excellent service and delightful drinks made for an enjoyable evening. With a broader range of veg options, Belmont Cocktail Bar could cater to an even wider audience, further solidifying its reputation as a must-visit spot for cocktails and social gatherings.

Lovely swanky bar and lounge. Great comfortable seats and couches. Bartender on duty made drinks so quickly you barely had time to finish telling him your order before the drink was in front of you.

I’m sure I’ve been by this place no less than 20 times and never knew it existed… which is devastating. What a fantastic place. The drinks are solid, and the bartender is exceptional. The whole place is super cozy and comfortable, the staff is friendly, and they have a super clean bathroom. I also really enjoyed the music and VOLUME of the music playing overhead. It was just enough to create ambiance without detracting conversation. This will definitely become a regular stop!

I used to love coming to this bar but it's taken a bit of a turn. Decor and vibe is still ok, though somehow feels more aged than vintage (I'm not sure if they changed the paint color, but something feels different/off). The cocktail were OK, and I really believe they can do better than a hummus plate. What was felt like a cool, ivy league bar now feels like a dimly lit airport lounge.

Outstanding evening at Belmont. Great service and holiday cocktail specials were excellent. Highly recommend!

Best Manhattan in Seattle (imo). Decor is dark and cool and the candles with all of the melted wax are fun to look at. I've come here with a large group, on dates, and solo. Each time I've had a good experience. The music and conversation levels are quiet enough that you can actually hear the people you're with. Noticed when I was there last time they were selling hotdogs but didn't get one. Drinks are pretty expensive, though. Or at least a Manhattan is. With tip, it was about $30. That said, this isn't some place visit come often, but is always a lovely time when I am there.

Bar lounge, friendly owners, classy place you can hear each other without shouting nice place to have a cozy drink.

Good music, like the ambiance - dark library vibes with leather couches and armchairs. Cocktails are tasty and smooth, but not particularly unique or top notch. Servers were nice and quick, busy night, but not much of a wait.

My partner and I recently visited Belmont for what was supposed to be a pleasant evening. The initial experience was delightful, with excellent cocktails and a fantastic waitress. However, our evening took a disturbing turn when a man, presumably the manager, approached us.After merely an hour of being there, we were asked if we were okay, to which we responded positively. We were enjoying our drinks and the atmosphere, which was precisely what we came for, as we were celebrating a significant moment in our lives – his mother’s new job and relocation. But, to our shock, this same individual returned and told us that if we weren’t ordering anything else, we needed to leave. The reason given? A line of people supposedly waiting for our spot. What left us deeply unsettled was that there were two other couples, both white, seated right behind us. They had been there before us and were engaging in the exact same behavior – lounging and enjoying their drinks without any interference. We couldn’t help but notice the stark contrast in how we were treated compared to them.We had already accumulated a substantial tab of $120, so the notion that we were asked to leave due to our lack of orders simply didn’t add up. What added insult to injury was that the manager had hardly interacted with us throughout the evening. It took all of 30 seconds for him to decide we should be removed from the establishment. We briefly left the premises, only to find that there was no line and nobody occupying the space we had vacated. This blatant inconsistency prompted me to confront the manager, expressing my belief that we were singled out solely because of the color of our skin. His response was far from satisfactory – citing a shortage of staff members, which had no relevance to the issue at hand.Being treated this way was not only deeply hurtful but also a clear act of discrimination. We were essentially forced to leave Belmont because of the color of our skin, an experience that no one should have to endure in this day and age. We expected to be treated with the same respect and courtesy as any other patrons, but instead, we were made to feel unwelcome and marginalized. This incident has left a lasting impression on us, and we urge Belmont to reflect on its commitment to inclusivity and equal treatment for all customers. Discrimination has no place in any establishment, and we hope that our ordeal leads to positive changes in how the staff at Belmont treats its diverse clientele.

Decent cocktail selection too. Service could be better. Speakeasy vibe with big leather couches and dim

My new favorite cocktail bar . I absolute love canon but Belmont has all the vibes, great ambiance, enough space to feel like you're not crammed, love bourbon so I love the cocktail offerings, great bartenders. Will be asking my dates to bring me here.

This bar has very elegant and old fashioned vibes. The seating arrangement consists of large sofas and coffee tables, which is nice for aesthetic purposes but can be a little difficult if you have a smaller group and are scattered horizontally sitting on a couch. We came on a Friday night and were still able to get one of the remaining tables.Between the two cocktails we ordered, there was one we liked and one we didn't as much. The daiquiri was quite strong, and tasted a little different than the ones I'm used to. However, the other (which I forgot the name of) was quite good. You could tell it was strong but it didn't taste so pungent. The dim lighting created a nice atmosphere and it wasn't too loud either. A decent spot for a drink!
