Excellent nachos. Like really really good. Came in for an afternoon cocktail and snack. It was pretty empty but can see it being packed during peak times.

They need more help. The place was quite busy on Sat yet there was only one cashier/server/food runner when we were there. She worked non stop. Husband ordered the cherry saison I think.

We stumbled into this amazing pub near UW - we walked around campus for the cherry blossom festivities. Afterwards stumbled onto this gem, its ambience purely pub like which reminded me of London pubs. There was ample seating; bar, indoor & outside patio with lights. They also have TV's for those sports fans. Street parking is available or UW garage- it's free on Sundays. This is a pub where you order at the bar & their friendly staffs delivers yummies to your table. We've had chicken wings which the batter was crispy and tasty seasoning on the chicken. Nachos came out fully loaded with all the yummy toppings. Pizza was delicious; Hot, crispy crust with generous toppings. Ofc we've also had their burgers (forgot to take pix) & surprisingly the meat was juicy & flavorful, came with pickles and salad or fries...Omg! Fries were so crispy! They were the perfect combination with beer; we had a pitcher plus side orders to try local IPA's- you won't be disappointed! When in UW, hope you get to stop by to enjoy their delicious food along with local beer Huskies. Bon appetite!

The owner was super cool , almost too cool. He welcomed my party & checked on us a few times . Anyways … get the Spicy Hawaiian, honey siracha chicken wings & big time burger . Next time I visit Seattle … I’m going back ! Thanks Rick !! Told ya I’d actually leave a review . Cheers mate !! HD2!!

I have not been there for a couple of years and always remembered how great it was. I ordered a pizza to go (Hawaiian with onions) and whilst I waited I had their dark beer. It was good. The pizza came and I got the British Lager in a can and went back to the hotel. The pizza had no onions on it, and the next day I was sick from food poisoning as this was the only meal I had all day. I will give them another chance as this may have been a once in lifetime experience

Came here and just so happened to stumble in Wednesday night trivia. Pretty solid establishment with a really nice interior that feels like a pub. Ordered the pizza and the seasoning was really good! It looks like other nights they have music and other fun things going on. Service was awesome. Drinks are local! I ordered a soda and it was from a Seattle business

One of the classic University of Washington bars, right in the heart of the Ave. The crowd skews more towards visitors and alumni vs students, but you'll see a range of folks. Great beer brewed on premises, beautiful wood-paneled bar with a brass foot rail, old school wooden tables and chairs, and decorated for the holidays. Large fries $10, pints $7. Old Wooly barley wine on tap for December 2023, 22 oz bottles of it for $15 make great gifts! The Atlas Amber, Coal Creek Porter, and the Old Wooly are all beers they've been brewing since at least the 80s or 90s, so try those classics of American microbrewing.Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed!
I had such a fun time at this amazing brewery watching the Seahawks game with a friend and the owner! The beer was awesome-I had the Sour Smash and it was easily one of the best sour beers I’ve ever had. I also enjoyed the cheeseburger, salad, and fries. Wonderful food, service, and vibe. The owner is incredibly kind and intentional about creating a warm and friendly Seattle community brewery. I will definitely be coming back!

It's the best hamburger meat I've had in a long time! Bar food is not known to be 5 stars; however, they made an excellent cheeseburger. A 5 star guality beef, locally produced, and fresh toppings. Also, one of my favorite drinks was here, Underberg. It's an order at the bar and find a seat place.

Nice urban pub with bar grub food. Pizza was ok could've been a little more crispy in middle instead of soggy. Beer selection good. You have to order your stuff and pay before you sit down . Bartender/waitress was AMAZING!! Handled so many customers and orders and all of it with grace and patience and she is who is deserving of these stars.
