I miss the old location and service. When asked to get the bean sprouts steamed instead of raw, the server was confused and didn't understand my request. I took a friend and we were both surprised at how not good the pho was. Broth was salty but overly sweet. The meat quality was not what I had in the past. Having grown up eating Pho, I was disappointed that we didn't get to enjoy a "bol" of pho on a cold day.

Congee was so delicious and the banh mi might be the best I've ever had. Definitely an overlooked brunch spot! But nice cuz it's not busy!Vegetarian options: Congee and bahn mi were vegan

I've been going to Bol for 7 years and just realized I've never given it an appropriate review for the service and value received. The food here is a little experimental, a little fusion-y, but always yummy. This place is a restaurant I feel comfortable taking my father from the Midwest because it's approachable and he always gushes about how healthy the food tastes.I like how clean the restaurant is, and the craft cocktails are great! I also appreciate all of the gluten free options!

I really want to like this place. It seems like they care about fresh, quality ingredients but it's what they do with that falters. The flavors were dull and flat. I had a pork bun bowl. Dry flavorless pork, no pickled vegetables, no basil, no cilantro, no lime wedge. I'm giving three stars because the ingredients that were in the bowl were fresh and good quality but didn't have any flavor resembling a bun bowl.

Not impressed by this place, to say the least. Bol has the vibes of a "modern" restaurant, yet fails to consider the need for authenticity in Vietnmaese cuisine. I ordered the grilled pork banh mi, which just tasted like a bunch of ingredients slapped together into a sandwich. The flavors were minimal and they skimped on pate and aioli. The little bowl of pho broth that came with the banh mi was flavorless as well; I couldn't tell if this addition to the dish added or subtracted from the overall experience because everything was bland. Bol is overpriced and under-seasoned. Their service was the only good part of my experience here.

My husband and I have been living in this neighborhood for over a year and we couldn't believe it's taken us this long to discover BOL! After returning from a long trip, we ordered delivery and the driver went beyond the call of duty and dropped off our hot food directly in front of our third-floor apartment door. It arrived before we even got home and we were beyond amazed at the quality of vegetables and MSG-free broth!!!! I've been suffering bad reactions to MSG at many other restaurants nearby so finding BOL is such a game-changer for us and a new favorite staple.

Easily one of the worst meals I have ever paid for. $40+.Noodles fell apart instantly, something was burnt in the rolls... completely inedible. Garbage. Do not eat here!

I was disappointed with my experience at Bol. I've been wanting to try this place for a while. When ordering wine, both bottles of red were very dusty despite being open, which resulted in a very acidic glass of wine. Also, we expected the crispy duck rolls to be crispy but the meat was not crispy and neither was the roll. The vegetables in the chicken Bol were cut in huge, difficult to eat pieces and barely cooked. The meat was also flavorless and slightly rubbery in texture, so I ended up eating only the noodles. For the price, this was a very frustrating experience. I will say that the staff was very kind and the aesthetic of the restaurant is fun, which is what balanced my review from 1-2 stars to 3.

Really great for gluten free, vegan, or keto/paleo. As a celiac sensitive to cross contamination, this is one of the very few restaurants where I feel safe.I had the banh xeo, which is a stuffed turmeric rice flour crepe, and it was exceptional - served authentically with fresh herbs and nuoc cham. My date had the lettuce wraps and salad rolls, which were also very good. Portions were very generous. The restaurant was pretty empty on Saturday night - we sat there for 3 hours and felt welcome doing so. The outdoor space is very nice too if the weather's decent. Food was served very quickly.

Every time I crave a spring roll I'm just going to swing by here instead of making it. Their peanut butter sauce is incredibly good too! I love that everything comes in big portions, and just the right amount of spiciness. We had arguably the best banh mi's of our lives.I love the patio and vibe of this place. You order first, seat yourselves, and the food is brought to you. Perfect place for happy hour DAILY 3-5pm.

The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I have a lot of frustrating gut issues and they're so understanding about all of the weird accommodations I hesitantly ask for - I rarely eat out these days as a result of that problem, but Bol is one of the few places where I never feel judged or like I'm being a nuisance.Food is well-worth the price for the quality and quantity. Staff is incredibly kind and patient. Interesting rotating specials my partner enjoys trying. Give this place a shot!

I have gotten pho from here with rock hard undercooked noodles on three different occasions, after throwing away my pho today I think I am finally done with this place.

Ordered take out. The pho noodles were in the same container at the hot broth. The noodles were puffy and crumbled apart. The broth was the saltiest broth I’ve ever had. The meat was sliced but balled up. Nastiest pho I’ve ever had. I’ve had a lot of bowls of it. Thee worst!

I ordered the duck pho.The broth was ok but my biggest problem was with the rice noodle that was still congealed in the shape of a quart container.
