Truly disappointing meal. Starts off by the host pushing me to sit at the bar which I declined. Waited close to 10 mins for a menu. I ordered the shrimp cocktail and the bone in Ribeye. Shrimp cocktail was average but the Ribeye was not medium rare, bland and about 1/8 inch thick. I'm sorry, I expected much more for $88. The steak I bought from Wholefoods was much better.

This review is specific to Bourbon Steak's New Year's Eve experience. We spent last year's New Year's Eve at Bourbon Steak and made advance reservations online. I'm not sure how they're handling it this year, but in 2022, they failed to disclose on their website or reservation page that their New Year's Eve experience was a pre fixe, four-course menu priced at a whopping ~$200 per person. Based on the website and reservation page, there was no reason to believe we could not order from an a la carte menu. When we were seated at our table, we were absolutely stunned to find that our only option was to order the $200 menu. The table seated next to us also seemed to be surprised and actually ended up leaving before ordering anything. While I understand $200 per person can be considered standard for a nice dinner in the city on New Year's Eve, the failure to be transparent and upfront about this critical detail was incredibly disappointing - so much so that I still become enraged when thinking about it one year later. The food itself was nice for the most part, with the appetizer (assortment of small bites), first course (the risotto was amazing), and main course (steak) being delicious and well-cooked. However, the dessert was like a Snack Pack chocolate pudding cup, and for $200, I expected each course to be of a certain caliber. The service was alright but pretty slow at times. We ended up waiting quite a bit between each course and about 30 minutes just to receive the check, but given it was New Year's Eve, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. While I can't speak to their regular menu, our experience was ruined by the fact that we were blindsided by the restaurant's shady practices. With the holidays and New Year's Eve just around the corner, I wanted to share my experience with others who are considering spending their time and money at this establishment.

Tonight my husband and I were taken care of by “Boston” Eddie, Ethan and an incredible Chef while we were at Bourbon Steak. Together they provided us with a delightful evening out with impeccable service and amazing food.We started off with a sampler of fries and a couple of mocktails, followed by an appetizer seafood platter, instant bacon and the wedge salad. Then we had a perfectly prepared bone-in ribeye steak, finished with the campfire smores and a couple of coffees. This evening was certainly a special treat that we will be sure to tell everyone about, and we look forward to coming back!

Do not come here for Thanksgiving. The food was nowhere near the quality we have had here in the past and the service was awful. It was not worth the over $600 we paid before tip.●The restaurant was clearly overbooked which resulted in us being seated 40 minutes past our reservation time. When we went to the host stand 20 minutes after our reservation, it was clear we had been forgotten about even though we checked in when we arrived and were told to wait at the bar. Finally, after another 10 minutes and another reminder, the host came to ask us our name and how many in our party. We made a reservation several weeks in advance, received a confirmation call earlier in the week and gave our name and number in our party every time we went to the host stand.●Once we were seated we found that our table had a severe wobble (that we fixed with folded menus) and we were sitting in folding chairs. For more than $100 per person, I don't expect to be sitting in a folding chair or crawling under the table to fix it.●One member of our party ordered the wine pairing but was finished with the first course before any wine arrived.●Three members of our party ordered steak, all three arrived at the table cold with one severely charred on the outside. One ordered cod that had bones in it.●The restaurant ran out of the cobbler dessert and substituted cheesecake; one member of our party is lactose intolerant so she was left without any dessert. No need to spend money on a lackluster meal here when there are so many other options in Seattle.

Made reservations for our engagement night, traveled all the way from Austin and was expecting a magical night. This did not reach our expectations. I had made a note on our reservation that we would had just got engaged that day. Also our server that night was not as attentive and had forgotten some of our orders. If your planning on having an engagement dinner, I would advise to have it somewhere else.

I went here last night for a friend's birthday. The customer service was super on point and I had a great experience dining with Bourbon Steak. James the GM took really good care of us. I would recommend this fine diner to others and I would mos definitely come back here.

So I was pretty exited to go here for Thanksgiving dinner I have heard great things about the Michael Mina dining experience and was let down. It started off well our server was great and my drink was on point. The first course was good I had the instant bacon it was a nice play on pork belly, but our bread course never came. We made several requests but it never came. After almost an hour they brought our entrees and alas my rare filet was overdone and a little tough, the puree was very nice though. The sides that came were nice, I must say the Brussels were my favorite part of the meal. If it wasn't for our server I would have stomped out of the place. I would say it's a hit or miss type of place.

Thanksgiving Saga 2023Nobody at the reception counter to check us in when we arrived for a long time. Had to go looking for someone to check us in.Nobody took our coats, had to go looking for somebody to check in the coats.Took 36 minutes to get waterHad ordered wine pairing. Had to ask for the paired wines when dinner service started. All of us had a different starter each but all of us got served the same “paired” wine! That’s not how wine pairing works. My husband was served soup which was almost cold and he had no soup spoon to eat it with.We booked online and opted for upgrades - they had no idea about the upgrades!I had left notes about a mock tail for my mother as she does not drink. They had no idea about this either. That’s, fine, I asked for a mock-tail at the restaurant. She was served pineapple juice instead. They took our order and just before the meal started we were informed that they were out of my mother’s choice of entree. I chose this restaurant because my mother (visiting all the way from India) wanted to taste the lobster pot pie and now they had none.We were told that they only had the Apple Cobbler left so all of us asked for apple cobbler with ice cream. They said they were out of ice cream as well so they would serve it with whipped cream instead. I had been looking forward to that ice cream with my pie, but alright. When it was time for dessert, they didn’t even have the apple cobbler for us!My parents asked for ice cream (I guess they managed to make more) and I ordered beignets in place of the missing apple cobbler. Although the ice creams came out along with some chocolate s’mores for my husband which the chef sent over, I was never served my dessert till the end! Moreover, no wine pairing was served with the dessert! If they had no idea about how to do wine pairings, they should not have offered it as an add on.My dad ordered coffee with sugar. No sugar for a long time. Coffee went cold. They got us new coffee with sugar but no stirrer to stir the sugar with. Again, coffee starts to go cold. Finally walked out feeling really disappointed. No beignets for me, no wine pairings with desserts, no ice cream with apple cobbler for us, but then no cobbler for us either, no lobster pot pie for us, no truffle shavings or any of the other upgrades for us…They charged us only for the drinks (the “paired” wines) and not for the dinner itself. I appreciate the gesture but it did not make up for the disappointment. Finally, when I started telling the manager (I assume she was the manager) about the various things which went wrong, she just shut me down. Making mistakes is one thing (everybody is human) but owning up to them is another. I felt that she could have shown a little more interest in what went wrong with our service.I don’t care about the free food. My parents are visiting from abroad and I wanted to show them a good thanks giving. My mother has Alzheimer’s and these are the last few memories I can make with her. Instead, not only did we not have a good time but we even got yelled at!Thank you for helping me make unwelcome memories with my aging parents, Bourbon Steak!

This was our first time here and the food and cocktails orders were provided with perfect timing especially for a Friday evening. The steak, sauteed mushrooms and truffle mac and cheese were excellent and the cocktails were made perfectly. The complimentary fries was an awesome surprise and were crispy with 3 yummy flavors ? Our server, Tanya, made the experience even better with her friendly and welcoming energy and excellent customer customer service. We would highly recommend Bourbon Steak and will definitely be back ?

Awful experience. It took about 20 mins for a single drink and oysters/shrimp. From there, it was over an hour before the waitress would acknowledge us and bring the salad appetizer. She apologized blaming the kitchen chef, which made no sense as she didn’t check in for the hour and we couldn’t even get her attention. We finally received the salad appetizer after 1hr 10 mins, and decided to cancel the main course. The main course would have been $500+ on top of the appetizers that the restaurant lost out on, and more if the waitress would have even asked us if we wanted another drink in over an hour.Do not waste your time on poor service, and overly crowded loud environment. Go to Aerlume or Butchers Table.

Food was extremely average, nothing special, flavors and consistency left something to be desired. I’ve had better prepared steak at most chains. Brussel sprouts were drenched in oil and overly sweet. Mac and cheese was about the same quality as you would get from a grocery store deli. Service was okay. Overall pretty disappointing for the price (~$500 for 3 people). Smoked Old fashioned was probably the best thing we tried.

Will not return for the costs and quality. Rib-eye was charred and rough. Baked potatoes were the worst we've had for $26, just pure dry and crumbly. Side of carrots, it was fine nothing special. Filet mignon was the only great item we had.

The experience was so bad that it was almost comical. The "sommelier" seemed to have no idea what he was doing. Very skittish. We described the wine we wanted and he grabbed the wine menu and left without saying a word. Came back later with 2 bottles, neither of which was what we requested. Our waiter then suddenly had to leave half way through dinner for a prior commitment. Too many other oddities in the service to even list them all. Some were actually funny. Finally our steaks arrived. All 3 steaks at the table were so tough we could not even cut them. They did take one off the bill however none of us could even it more than a third of our steaks. I have been to good steakhouse hundreds of times and this was by far the worst steak I have ever been served. Oh and then at around 9-9:30 the music starts blasting and it turns into a night club. I love Bourbon Steak (especially the one in Dana Point, CA) however this was not a Bourbon Steak. Save your money.
