A hidden gem. A small place that has a small neighborhood feel but with *very* thoughtfully made dishes and some *superb* cocktails. The menu (including drink menu) may not be the largest, but it's very well done. We'll be back.

Wonderfully creative food that didn't feel overly pretentious and filled us up. The Staff was informative and friendly, taking times to explain and recommend dishes without being asked; If this was located downtown it would be twice the price and still worth it.

A charming neighborhood restaurant with an incredibly creative food and drink menu. The service was prompt and engaging and even had a personal visit from the chef to to see how the food was. In short - I was happy to tell him that every dish was made to perfection. The warm olives with parmesan were a very pleasant surprise. Almost a meal in itself! Can't wait to go back.

Very much enjoyed our anniversary dinner here!! Everything was wonderful and even the bread was unexpected but delightful. The staff signed an anniversary card for us which was very cute. This place really reminded us of our old favorite spot that closed and we will definitely be back. Definitely underrated for how amazing it is. PS. DON'T GO HERE so there's room for me when I want to come back. Haha ?

The food was excellent. The sauce for the clams was a bit salty but mellowed out with the bread we ordered. We felt misjudged bc we had a teen kiddo with us and was under-serviced because of this. It was 45 mins between being seated and getting our drinks and apps. The waiter warmed up once he realized our kiddo was a foodie and actually checked in several times before clocking out and transferring our service.Vegetarian options: Soup, salad, pasta

My wife has always Loved this place. But as hard as I work in this industry and the way I am treated when I come here to be honest I am just disappointed in this place. I tried to make a special birthday reservation for her this year and they're just so pretentious they gave me a hard time last year and they didn't even respond this year. I am done. pretentious a-holes. Also for some useful information just so it's not me being vengeful. It's all about the drinks here so the food is lacking for sure. If you want great drinks I suggest carnal and Bellingham or walrus in the Carpenter

The variety on the menu made it hard to choose what to order. We shared two tarters, a salad and two entrees. The portions are perfect and the cocktails and wine menu were extensive as well. The staff were very friendly and the place was packed. Yum!!! Can't wait to go back!

Alright, shout out to Dana who sat us in the cute shady side of the patio (bring a sweater because it gets chilly!) and told us people only talk about the bread in their reviews. We live in the neighborhood and haven’t gotten a chance to check out B&H, mostly because it’s on a busy street, and also because I have something against the pretentious name. How wrong I was to judge, it’s my loss ?Let’s start with the fact that there are tons of fine dining veg options-as pescatarians who lean NA, lots of fish and non alcoholic cocktails as well. Honestly? We ate four plates off the “snacks” menu and then after seeing these glorious fried bread boule’s hit every table, realized we had to add it. The perfect amount for two people, and a great thing to use to scoop up all the sauces and dips. Don’t sleep on it. It’s fried with spices. It’s warm. It’s hot and crumbly and crunchy and chewy and literally everything bread should always be.Otherwise, the halibut crudo with jalapeños and passion fruit and coleslaw was incredible, as was the onion dip that definitely needed the bread because we ate the veggies so fast it was like they never came out. The fried potatoes dish was incredible. If you like crispy, mustard and sour cream, get them!Last but VERY much not least: order the Corn Ribs! They split a corn cob in 4 ways, and grill it, so it looks like an octopus tentacle but eats like a rib. Comes with bonito flakes and a tomato remoulade/aoili-esque sauce and a slice of lime. Seriously, crunchy, savory, sweet, buttery…But the BREAD tho.10/10, perfect spot to bring a date, a family member visiting, or just to put on your “I’ll get to it once a season” list.Vegetarian options: As a vegetarian/pescatarian there was one veg entree, 1 fish entree, and then everything in small plates and snacks besides the crudo could be made veggie friendly. Highly recommend.

I think my favorite part is the atmosphere but the food does not disappoint. I assume they update their menu often to be seasonal but we loved our tomato salad (with burrata & peaches) and they've got a fun cocktail menu and long list of wines. Great date night spot!Dietary restrictions: The server will ask you about any allergies or restrictions and be helpful in selecting items, if so.

This place was amazing! The staff was extremely nice, professional and accommodating! We were there for a rehearsal dinner and had rented out the cafe space. I have a couple of weird allergies, and they caught it before I was served the family style entree and they brought me something else. I was so impressed! They also were very accommodating to the people who were vegetarian and gluten free.Everything we ate was delicious! The cocktails, drinks, food. Though this sounds silly... The bread was just amazing!!!!! If you go make sure you get the bread!!!! I'm so going back here again.
