We attended the Bordeaux Blending event with Chris. It was absolutely amazing! I love the wines and Chris is fantastic! If you like good red wine, plan to go and even better….do the Bordeaux blending. Highly recommend.

Great local wine just minutes from Pikes market. The wine has a lot of French influence and has a great story of sustainability. They have an amazing initiative for Orca Whales. The service here was fantastic, Maggie and Elizabeth. Elizabeth was our server and she had excellent recommendations. Overall the service was just fantastic and made us excited for the possibility of visiting the winery

Loved it so much we became wine club members. Exited for our first wine picks. We did the seasonal flight and it was lovely. Ended up taking 6 bottle home. Great spot.

BROWNE FAMILY VINEYARDS PIONEER SQUARE TASTING ROOM VIBES - Wine tasting in Pioneer Square? Don’t mind if I do!Located in the historic Seller Building designed in 1906, the tasting room had a cool aesthetic that fit the cloudy Seattle morning vibes. They had a number of wine flight options and we went through the Patio Pleasers flight which included: rosé of Grenache, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Pinot Gris, & we got to try the Chardonnay & some bubbles as well.I was amazed about the pale color of the Sauvy B & Pinot Gris! But was gratefully reminded that color does NOT equal flavor. Those were my favorites due to the delicate aromatics & crisp flavors. Patio Pleasers for sure! The rosé was delicious as well. Took some Pinot Gris home to pair with some seafood later. Would go perfect with roasted fish with a lemon & capers ?

We just did a tasting at Browne Family Vineyards. While the wine was good, they do not give you free tastings if you purchase wine. So after spending $60 on two bottles of wine, I also had to pay for my tasting for myself and my guest as well as a small food item that we had. Napa doesn't do this, Sonoma doesn't do this, Willamette valley doesn't do this. Apparently Walla Walla does. Average wine, but expect to pay out of the nose just to taste it. Maggie was a great hostess.

I enjoyed a fantastic tasting here. Arriving at 11am on a weekday, I was warmly welcomed by Greg, who proceeded to treat me to a couple of hours of great wine and even better chat. I walked away with a special bottle to bring back home to Australia, which I look forward to drinking in years to come, no doubt bringing back memories of my time in Seattle. Highly recommend a visit if you are in town and into wine! Thanks Greg, you are the man!

Please take my review with a grain of salt. I have worked in the Napa Valley + Sonoma wine industries since 2016, so I will admit I have somewhat high expectations based on prior experiences. Had a friend visiting me from out of town, so I had my father, who is a wine club member, book us a tasting last Saturday. The tasting room itself is beautiful, but the experience was sub-par. First, they mixed up our flights. I ordered the 'seasonal flight' solely because the hostess said it included the sparkling wine. My friend chose the other flight with Chardonnay. Somehow I didn't get any sparkling, and my friend did. Secondly, we were seated at a table directly next to the door to exit to the restroom. This didn't seem like a huge deal at all, until we noticed a surplus of people walking on the downtown streets (mostly Mariners game-goers) that started entering the tasting room JUST to walk through and use the restroom. We constantly had the door opening and closing by us with cold gusts of wind every minute or so, which after a while became pretty agitating. Third, and I know this isn't a con for everyone, but these were not tastings. These were full glasses. Usually I can finish an entire flight, even if there are wines I don't love. I wasn't a huge fan of any of these wines to be honest, and since there were 4 full glasses in front of me, there was no way I would be finishing the flight. Sadly, no dump bucket or anything either. My friend, who is less of a wine drinker than me, also looked like she has barely touched her flight. So we are just sitting there chatting, done drinking, waiting for someone to close out our tab or bring us our check (at the time I wasn't quite sure on their club members tasting policy and if its complimentary or not, we belong to a few clubs and everyone is different). Finally a gentleman comes over to tell us, no rush to finish our wines, but that there's another reservation coming in soon that they need the table for. We realized it had been 2 hours, but the last 45+ minutes were just us sitting, talking, and waiting, not even drinking. We tell him "oh no we're all done!", and he looks back down at our wine and again says "oh no, no need to rush, we just wanted to let you know!". We sat there for a few minutes waiting for someone to bring us our check or tell us if we needed to pay for these tastings, which no one did, so we eventually get up and walk over to the bar to ask about paying our tab. Turns out, there was a tasting fee to cover (which is totally fine, and it was 50% off due to club membership), but it was so strange that we had to go seeking someone to tell us and to close us out, especially considering we were told we would need to vacate the table soon.Anyway - my parents are still club members of Browne so I am hoping to give more of their wines a chance. The Viognier was the stand out wine from my experience there.
