I stopped by this cafe on a Saturday afternoon after seeing cute pictures of it. I really enjoyed the decor and space. They had lots of seating and even a couple tables outside. I think it would be a great place to sit and get some work done. There was also this couple sitting by us who was doing a crossword together and I thought that was really cute and added to the cafe vibe. The drinks were subpar, unfortunately. We did come around the time they were closing so maybe they were rushed a bit? But my matcha latte tasted like milk and the honey oat latte my friend got was missing the creaminess that lattes usually have. Over all I wish the drinks were better, but I would be willing to try again since the atmosphere was so cute!

Excellent espresso and coffee, nice staff, and a spacious light & bright space with outdoor brick patio seating too! The cost is a tad pricey, but I hope to come back. (Bonus: the Porsche club meets here Sunday mornings.)

The Italian son of a coffee man who was in charge of the place when I was there literally made my day. He turned gray sky into blue. He was genuinely kind, and in that kindness was sociable and present, not just with me but with everyone who came in. He gave me a new lease on this day I have in front of me. Thank you, kind man. Plus, the place is clean and aesthetic, and the goods are good. A clean, well-lighted place.

Amazing lattes! I ordered vanilla lattes several times during my stay, and Caffe Umbria had my favorite!Very convenient walk in coffee shop with friendly staff if you are in the area. Some seating area inside to relax. Very good pastries and scones. I got a chocolate croissant and an orange scone that were both very tasty!

This is wonderfully quaint coffee shop, right in the heart of Pioneer Square. The coffee and the treats are very good and so is the service. I enjoyed the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

Cute little coffee shop in Ballard. Great atmosphere, with outside seating that’s perfect for people watching or with a dog.

I once came here and ordered some coffee and a breakfast item. The food was not fully cooked. I took it back to the counter and explained the situation. I wasn't upset but, what bothered me was that the lady thought I was lying and snatched the food out of my hand. What's worse she didn't get me a new one and put it back in the mini oven after I had bit into it. I filed a complaint and never heard anything back.Never coming back or any other Umbria. DONT COME HERE. THEY WERE RUDE.

Got a 16oz macchiato for $8.22. That’s crazy they charge you extra for the vanilla. Macchiato is literally vanilla and Carmel and they charge you extra for the flavor? Over priced, nothing special.
