Been coming here for over 14 years and such a Seattle solid staple. Wonderful all around service and food. Sad that it closed its doors.

I really enjoyed CJ's we were a big party and they treated us right. I had the latkes and everyone else had the eggs Benedict. We all enjoyed our breakfast.

I'm huge on breakfast, so visiting Seattle I knew I had to stop by CJ's. We were seated right away and the waitress was super friendly and helpful. I got the biscuits and chorizo gravy OMG, it was super fire. I didn't see it on the menu but thanks to my fellow elite peeps I knew I had to ask. I also got a side of pancakes and those were probably the best thing ever. If your huge on breakfast like me, CJ's wont dissapoint.

A great place for breakfast, especially on the weekend. Enough food that you don’t have to eat for the rest of the day.

Breakfast on the way to the Space Needle. This is a very locals place with a great wait staff, good food and definitely a place to visit again.

Bacon was a bit less rich than expected. Very mid.In house chili was nothing special but a good hearty classic chili. Although they did put a lot of onion on top- a bit weird.French toast was also nice. Highly recommend getting marrionberry jam with the pancakes or French toast.Pancakes are bit fried around the edges - my party quite enjoyed thatOverall I would eat here again.

Great place in downtown Seattle. Walked over from work with a colleague to enjoy breakfast. Great service, good prices, huge portions and very tasty. Keeping this place in my list for downtown breakfast in the future. By the way, get out and support our locals restaurants. These times are tough for business owners.

I can't believe I've never reviewed CJ's! CJ's has been a Belltown institution for over 25 years and a classic for comfort food. When we lived in the neighborhood, this was a go-to brunch spot. Now, we trek out of our way when we're in the mood for a big delicious breakfast! CJ's has a great breakfast menu with lots of unique options. For low carb lovers, there are lots an egg and meat breakfast choices. Yesterday, I had the Hombre Omelet which has ground beef, cheddar, onion, salsa, and sour cream. My husband had the meat lovers scramble. The portions are huge, and the meals come with red potatoes or hash browns and toast, you can also sub fruit. They have drink options including a variety of different mimosas. There is plenty of seating so you never have to wait long for a table. Most importantly, I've always found the staff to be super-friendly. I don't know how they keep up, but they always find a way to connect and go above and beyond.

Delicious food, omelette and hash browns cooked to perfection, I’m a fan of biscuits and gravy and this one is in my list of the best in the country. Pretty good coffee. Vacation card requests to dine in.

Very good food excellent service. I didn't realize that we would need to show vaccination cards but I didn't mind at all. We're looking forward to returning to try something different on the menu.

Food was delicious-I had an omelette, bagel and side of perfectly crispy bacon, and a few mimosas to try the different flavors...for science of course! What really stood out to me was the amazing waitstaff that really set this place apart! The service was attentive and the waitress was bubbly and engaged us in fun light-hearted banter that really brightened our day. I will definitely be back!

I stopped into CJ's Eatery for breakfast with a party of 4 when I was visiting Seattle. It was busy, but we were seated immediately when we arrived. The inside of the restaurant was a simple diner, nothing over the top. Our server was friendly and attentive and she took our orders quickly. The food also came out quickly from the time we ordered. I tried the Greek skillet, and it was delicious! All the ingredients tasted fresh, and it was surprisingly light for diner food. The rest of my group all really enjoyed their meals too. Overall, I would say CJ's is a great visit if you're looking for really tasty food and good service, as both were a 5/5.

Solid 3.5 star breakfast spot. A lot of other reviews nailed it - this place is in need of a remodel, but the service is fantastic, and the food is decent. We especially liked the house-made hollandaise sauce. That being said, they do not offer much in the way of gluten free options. It was a classic breakfast kind of place for me (standard eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns). They offer fruit for a $2 up charge.
