We were super impressed:The chocolate croissant/pain au chocolat was really delicious and fresh— the interior was creamy but exterior flaky.They have mini pies which are soooo good. We got the strawberry rhubarb and loved it.Their Gougere was awesome + the bread was also good.Highly recommend!
Improvement - they let you inside. You can buy normal quantities of everything expect the cinnamon buns and they're open once in a while but.... I was so excited to try this place, it’s been on my list to visit for a while. Needless to say I will never be going back. As I walked in I hear a gentleman behind the counter say “if you’re getting pastries or bread I can help you over here” I was not I was just getting a coffee so I walked up to the register and the lady working looks at me crazy and says the line starts over there and I said oh I’m just getting a coffee, still she says the line starts over there. As I look at the empty line I chuckle, walk around the island thing and place my order for coffee. As I’m walking around the lady at the register turns to her coworker and starts laughing at me, not a great look on you guys. I place my order then my partner goes next. His comes out first he got a dirty chai and I’m waiting for mine. The lady calls out a vanilla chai (I ordered a vanilla latte) thinking it’s not mine I wait a little bit but no one grabs it, so I walk to the counter and asked the ladies “is this a vanilla latte?” They said yes. I said oh thank you I think you called out a vanilla chai so I didn’t think it was mine. With the most attitude she says “ the one before that was a chai sooo…” and just looks at me like I’m the idiot for not knowing it was mine WHEN SHE CALLED OUT THE WRONG DRINK!!! I’m super disappointed by my experience and the coffee was burnt so I just threw it away after two sips. Save yourself a trip and go to Coffeeholics down the road.

By far the best bakery in Seattle, Columbia City Bakery always delivers. Get there early because they sell out fairly quickly, I recommend pretty much anything, everything I've had here has been excellent.

Such a trash bakery. Has so many options. I love that you just walk right up to the countertop and order.
Stopped by to get some breakfast sandwiches here. I got the Findlay and it was delicious. The sandwich was creamy, crunchy, spicy, sweet, sour, smokey and savory. It had a good combination of flavors and textures. We also ordered some focaccia bread to eat later and the pretzel knots were also delicious. Would definitely come back to try their other sandwiches when I am in town.

Excellent bread. As well great pastries. I am very fond of their coffee cake. The ham sandwich is my go-to for road trips, plane rides, and as a sublime substitute for food at theater matinees.

Wow this is such a great and well run spot! They have a walk up window for ordering and you. An see what they have that's fresh baked in the window and they also have a small selection of delicious breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches. Coffee and tea drinks are available as well. They keep things moving quickly and if you get a hit item they will tell you how long the wait will be. (5 min when I was there) There seems to be plenty if neighborhood parking but I imagine it could get busy and take a few extra minutes to park at busy traffic times. Totally worth it though! Oh and they also had bread loaves as well. Great spot I will come back to!

Second time today and I'm glad I live near this bakery! Things I've tried now...The pastries, the sandwich, the breads... I can guarantee you that the ingredients are of quality, having tried many good bakeries before. I'm glad they pay attention to quality and I feel the value is in the price of each item. Also, I love to support local businesses :) I noticed on Google that people said they were forced to buy two of the same baked goods in Covid but I can tell you that the bakery doesn't do this anymore. Service is warm I felt they were short handed a bit but food and beverage shops are having a hard time since the pandemic.Oh, they have a cafe stand with coffee, tea and lemonade to go.
