My girlfriend and I had just gotten in to Seattle on a Tuesday night. Many restaurants closed by 8pm but we happened upon this gem here in Yelp. Service was great. Got to meet the owner Brandon and he took time to speak with us and share that this is his second restaurant. It's been open for about 6 months and he wanted our feedback on the food and the restaurant as a whole. We ordered the pappadelle and gemelli. Both dishes were immaculate. The pappadelle were perfect thin ribbons. And the flavor of the brisket in the gemelli was so delicious. Would order both again. Ambiance is trendy and great for a date night. Brandon was gracious enough to serve us some gelato on the house as well. Not something I personally would order but was pleasantly surprised with how delicious it was. Brandon also connected me with his friend at the cocktail bar Canon - who took great care of us. Thank you Brandon! Would come back to this restaurant again next time I'm in Seattle.

Great pasta and pizza. Really great and a terrific n/a gimlet. Not one dish missed. Was a quiet evening so service was very special. Really glad to have a new exceptional Italian restaurant in Seattle. I recommend make it a date night and take a ride share to and from.

Very good food. Top notch. Good, very friendly service. Very chill vibe. Not pretentious at all. Almost like a very nice neighborhood bar that also serves awesome Italian food. If you take someone here, you will look good for knowing about this hidden, unassuming gem of an Italian restaurant. 10/10 would recommend.

We just stopped in for a quick drink after dinner, so this review is for the drinks only. I have to say, the food does look really great! Our server was super friendly and checked on us often. The service was great. However, two of us ordered a drink that clearly stated that the liquor was Four Roses. We watched the bartender pour a shot of Jim Beam. We decided to wait to see if the drink tasted OK before we said anything. It did taste fine so we didn't say anything at the time. It could have been an honest mistake, but that's really not cool when you are charging $14 a drink.

The atmosphere was decent and the service was pretty good overall but the main thing which is the food was bad. I spent $120 on 2 meals, an appetizer and 2 drinks which normally would be worth it if anything was edible. The tomatoes used for the burrata were canned, cold and not fresh. They used way too much wine in the papardelle and it drowned the taste. It was even hard ordering a drink because their cocktail menu is so limited and they don’t know how to make off the menu drinks like a Mai Thai. I had very high hopes but overall left after dinner to go somewhere to get food. I would not recommend or go back.

Both the service and food were impeccable! Amber curated a comforting and fun environment, and the chef(s) did not disappoint! They have amazing happy hour options and pricing, plus it’s the kind of setting where business, pleasure, or a date night can happen seamlessly.

This was a disappointing experience overall. The menu was very limited and the food was not good. The alcohol was basic but decent. The price didn't match the quality of the food.

Food - the pasta was really amazing. I'd come back for pasta here any time. My partner had the gemelli and I had the mafaldine. The drinks (aperol spritz and twilight in Parma) were good but not too standout for me. We also had the burrata and the focaccia which were good too. We had gelato too - chocolate for him and olive oil fennel pollen for me. Very tasty! Service - very attentive and kind. The (owner?) actually came over and brought me out a whole new pasta on the house because he said my portion was too small. I didn't really realize but I appreciated that very much! Ambiance - very cute and romantic vibes. There are a bunch of candle lit tables and it's got a cozy vibe. Great for date night!

The Cotto Belltown team helped us host my daughter's 1st Birthday Party, it was absolutely amazing! Brandon and his team went above and beyond for our whole party, babies included! The food was spectacular, music was perfect and everyone truly enjoyed themselves! This Jem of a place in the heart of Belltown truly is something special! I strongly suggest hosting your next event here! Thank you ? CB team!

This place is a hidden gem. Excellent food. Sublime service.Ashley was behind the bar and delivered an amazing Manhattan. She’s hilarious so make sure to sit there if you can. Dinner & a show.Brandon is the owner/operator. His open concept kitchen is what a date night is made for. Also a working chef, he whipped up Fried Aroncini balls, a bomb margarita pizza and some exotic pasta I forget.Don’t sleep on this small but powerful 2nd Ave assassin.

We ordered the mushroom pizza(funghi pizza) which listed 'wild mushrooms' and charred onion as topping. The only topping there was button mushrooms. No charred or any kind of onion. I have never been to any restaurants which bring out just button mushrooms as wild mushrooms. When I asked the server about the missing toppings, her answer was lukewarm 'they must have forgotten in the kitchen'. No apology at all.Checking online photos of their mushroom pizza, they look quite different from what we got. If you can't cook your own food as described in the menu, I don't think you should be running a restaurant. After reading your reply, yes, I only write reviews when I get bad experiences - I am blessed that I haven't had too many opportunities to contribute. But I never lie about what happened, unlike you lying on your menu.
