This is a wonderful place to grab banh mi and coffee in Fremont. My daughter had the bun and I had a dark soy sauce tofu banh mi and everything was perfect. We also had a mango smoothie that was so thick it almost didn't fit through the straw and one of the most delicious and lovingly made double espressos I've ever had. Too bad I didn't take pictures but I was so hungry I forgot.Vegetarian options: Delicious tofu banh mi options.

The Vietnamese coffee is pre made. It's so sweet that my tongue is numb. Definitely not an authentic drink. Don't go.

The absolute worst bahn mi I’ve ever hadI seriously never imagined not liking a bahn mi but this was so bad that I feel I would do this place a disservice if I did not tell them how horrible it was. The bread was so soggy like they poured hot water all over the top of it. The onions were like the outside layer of an onion was steamed and they were chewy — super off putting. Then half the bahn mi was cilantro STALKS. Yes stringy and woody. My wife’s vermicelli wasn’t much better. Not vermicelli noodles but white looking spaghetti.I just don’t understand how a place could make such bad food. For real I feel bad for them but recommend they close and find other jobs. Also you order on an iPad and bus your own table so not sure why they ask for tip? The chairs and tables were all dirty and sticky so they clearly aren’t cleaning anything. The food health rating on the window say “Okay”, so like clearly nothing is working here.Last thing I’ll say is Luckys is right around the corner and so good. Like seriously bahn mis are my favorite sandwich and I can’t imagine ever not liking one but here we are, crackle mi proved me wrong.

I was craving some Pho and came without checking their menu. They don't serve Pho! Heartbroken. I ended up ordering their vermicelli bowl - beef lemongrass. And it was goood! It is one of few places that's open late because we came here at around 9.30-9.40 pm on a Tuesday. And we were the only ones seated at the restaurant. But - we did see a few people order take out. The service is friendly and hospitable. The food rating at the door is okay - that was a bit of a turn off for me. But the food tasted great! And portion sizes justified the price. As for the ambiance, it was a spacious clean spot with neatly arranged tables.

Look near the handle near the door NOT the menu on the windows. If it’s not there anymore, then they moved it or ask for it.FYI: this means several unsafe food practices over the last 4 food inspections. And yes, these are required to be posted for you to see (not hidden) to allow customers to make informed decisions about their food. It should also be required for food delivery apps too, IMO.I write this as someone who has had their food and eaten in the restaurant.

Edit: changed review from 1 to 4 stars. CrackleMi's customer service was top notch here. I got a message from the business and they 110% made it right and were so kind about it. I'll be back to CrackleMi for sure. -------- I love crackleMi. Such good food. So I was really looking forward to my takeout tonight. I ordered a tofu vermicelli bowl and my partner ordered a chicken one. When we got home, the chicken bowl was correct, but I was given a beef rice bowl instead. As a vegetarian, I can't eat this. There's no phone number to contact the restaurant so hoping I can get contact here. I would like to be refunded the cost of the tofu bowl I did not get. Again, crackleMi has great food - usually. If you get what you ordered. Someone else ahead of us brought their food back bc it was the wrong order so I should have checked closer before leaving.

The food is absolutely amazing. The only criticism I have is that take out orders sometimes take longer than they tell you. And when you go get your text message that it’s ready you still have to wait.Dietary restrictions: Vegan

We wanted something fast after the visit at the Woodland Zoo, and you can't go wrong with banh mi (if you don't mind the crumbs of course). I got the food about 10 minutes after ordering. The inside is spacious and has lots of tables for dine-in. The banh mi sandwiches are long (and skinny), and are stuffed with ingredients. We each had half of 2 sandwiches, The Crackle Mi (pork + egg) and Spicy Lemongrass beef. I really enjoyed both. And I was full after 3/4 of it.

CrackleMi is a cute restaurant that I would grab lunch at regularly if I worked across the street! However, I think they're a pretty typical Vietnamese restaurant for Seattle, so I'm surprised their overall rating is so much higher than other sandwich spots (I think their rating should be around 3.6 stars but they currently are at 4.6 stars with about 30-35 reviews so far for this location). It's also a turn off that their food safety rating is only "okay". Service was good (5/5 stars). You order at a kiosk and are asked to tip, but will need to get up to get napkins, silverware, and/or water. We enjoyed our bahnmi sandwich (3.5/5 stars) and vermicelli noodle bowl (3/5 stars), but all of the flavoring and seasoning tasted like it came out of a packet or bottle. As other reviewers have noted, I felt like I could've made the dishes at home. The ambiance (5/5 stars) was modern and clean.

Light bohemian atmosphere, high ceilings makes it feel very free. Friendly staff and an INCREDIBLE signature bahn mi. If you liked sizzle and crunch or saigon deli as a UW student, this is the next step up. 11/10

Best Avocado smoothie I've ever tried! The food was great as well. And first time in Seattle I saw the "suggested tip" at the order kiosk that are less than 15%. Really respect that.
