Manager was very rude to us for having a candy bar open in the bar. Not sure how you can be in the service industry and make the decision to treat customers the way he did over a candy bar?

Definitely a cool spot. Tons of cool knick knacks everywhere. Chill vide. The beef tartare was solid.

Lots of ingredients in each cocktail such that any exciting flavors just get cancelled out. Pretty decor and much pomp/circumstance for an ultimately middling experience.

The space, feel, marketing via brilliant menu are all better than the food presented. It's not that the food is bad, it's good, however it falls flat relative to the intriguing menu description.

This only let me rate the food, but I didn't eat here; I only had cocktails. So my rating is for the creative, delicious, beautifully presented, & well-explained cocktails.

My husband and I had a nice date night here. The drinks were very good, a little spendy but you get what you pay for. We shared the focaccia as a small bite, and it was a decent size and very good. We each got two drinks, and the ambiance was very moody and classy. Would recommend.

During my recent visit to the Deep Dive Bar, I found myself enveloped in an ambiance that promised a luxurious escape, complemented by service that went above and beyond. A special shoutout to Jacob, whose attentiveness and professionalism made our evening significantly more enjoyable. The decor, akin to a meticulously curated museum exhibit, provided a feast for the eyes and elevated the overall experience. However, it's with a constructive spirit that I address certain elements that seemed to misalign with the bar's upscale aspirations. The culinary choices, specifically the pairing of caviar with overly salty chips, felt like a misstep. Such a combination not only overshadowed the delicate flavor of the caviar but also seemed at odds with the sophistication the bar aims to project. This choice, perhaps inadvertently, detracted from the elegance that Deep Dive Bar seeks to embody. The attire of the patrons also caught my attention. Despite the website's recommendation for smart casual dress, a noticeable number wore jeans and tennis shoes, suggesting a dissonance between the establishment's expectations and the guests' interpretations. This disparity, in a way, dilutes the upscale experience the bar strives to offer. The juxtaposition of the exceptional service and stunning decor against the less congruent elements of food pairing and guest attire creates a complex picture. It's a reminder of the delicate balance required to craft an experience that resonates with elegance and sophistication throughout. My hope is that Deep Dive Bar takes these reflections as opportunities to refine and align all aspects of their offering more closely with the high standards they clearly aspire to and are capable of achieving. This place has the potential to be not just a venue but a complete, harmonious experience, where every detail complements the next, creating an unforgettable visit.

Most cocktails here are $20. This is a good craft cocktail bar and the prices aren't that much more than what you'd pay for at another one. The ambiance was really classy and fun, and the servers all seemed to know more about cocktails than most bartenders. The drinks were good, high quality. That said, the drinks weren't mind-blowing if you've ever been to a craft cocktail place, and the food was fine. Not trying to knock the place, it's good! And the Pho cocktail was worth the trip all by itself. But you're really paying for the vibe and the service, which are both excellent.

Great little spot with a swanky and intimate atmosphere. Went because of the location and the comparatively large non-alcoholic drink menu. Some delicious NA drinks, a sampling of their tasting menu and small plates gave us a nice variety of food items to share, and a nicely paced experience. Food was delicious, portioned well for sharing between 2, and had interesting flavor profiles. Playlist was throwback hip-hop which fit the vibe was well curated. We enjoyed it!

I would recommend Deep Dive for cocktails; The ambiance, mood, and aesthetic were super moody and vibey, and the server was extremely knowledgeable about cocktail recommendations and wine pairings. We attended for Valentine's Day and did their coursed meal - Unfortunately, food service was extremely slow and when it was delivered/bussed, was super rushed. The food was also subpar for the price and portions were small. I think the restaurant is set up to cater well for after-work cocktails (obviously, given the location). Maybe just get dinner after elsewhere!

I have loved my visits to Deep Dive, but this time might be my last. We were told upon arrival that we had the table for 2 hours. That's totally reasonable...but at 1.5 hours we were given the check, and at 10 minutes till the cutoff, we were aggressively told we must leave. This was a Tuesday. It was moderately busy. Here is my advice, don't tell us the table is ours for 2 hours - say it was ours for 1.5 hours, give us our check then, and then we would feel like we got a few extra minutes that would have still been within your time restriction. Also, more protein friendly vegetarian options would have been nice - like Deviled eggs without anchovies, edamame. Crackers, bread, and cheesecake aren't conducive to an elevated vegetarian diet.
