Banh mi is good but it seems like theyre still working out the kinks with their ordering system. There seems to be two separate systems - the general shared cloud kitchen system and then their own system directly on their own site. If you accidentally order on their website directly, you aren't integrated properly into their pickup flow. Normally you're supposed to scan some QR code when you arrive but you don't get one of these when ordering direct. The little kiosk for doing the checkout was also broken and wouldn't let me manually search for my order. There wasn't anyone available to help trouble shoot. After waiting over 40 mins for my banh mi, I had to call them on the phone and they seemed a little confused about my order. Another 10 mins later they were able to complete the order. To be fair, they did mention they were understaffed. Happy to revisit this another time when the process is a bit smoother

At first, I was very confused by this kitchen concept. There are multiple restaurants in this location, and they are all takeout / delivery only. They mainly rely on delivery, and are all on multiple apps. They have lockers and a self pick-up and self ordering system for no-contact. This is NOT a traditional restaurant and there is no seating at all. Recommend ordering ahead of time because again, there is no place to sit or wait inside the restaurant space. There is a bathroom though. The food, however, was quite delicious. We ordered the pork vermicelli bowl, tofu vermicelli bowl, tofu spring rolls, and shrimp spring rolls. The spring rolls are marketed as appetizers but can honestly be a full meal too. The peanut sauce it comes with is delicious. I ordered at the store and waited for my food. Everything was packed super well and perfectly ready to eat by the time I got home. In fact, I ate it so quickly I forgot to take photos. With an order of $35+, it comes with a free green Thai tea. This is a special type of Thai tea that has an herbal flair to it. I like it very much.As it's in Udistrict, there isn't much parking except street parking, but there is a loading zone spot for pickups.

I ordered 2 District 4 Banh Mi's (cold cuts) and they were ON POINT. I grew up eating Banh Mis and nowadays have been eating sub-par Banh mis on the East Coast in NC as the quality there of Banh Mis aren't that great. This reminds me of the Banh mi's I used to eat growing up in the Bay Area of California, where Asian food was EVERYWHERE and QUALITY. Definitely recommend this place and would continue to give this place business for their Banh Mi!

Banh Mi amazing. Green Thai tea amazing. We are literally waiting for them to open in 6 minutes to order it again (for the third time) - it's that good!

Bland food. Yes, it was very fresh, so kudos to them on that, but flavors were lacking. Had food delivered & seriously had to add a ton of my own condiments to make any of it palatable. Mind you, I'm vegetarian, so I got tofu versions of everything. Perhaps the meat versions are more flavorful? I will never find out.

Sort of an odd location, no indoor seating but had very friendly service! Food is a bit overpriced imo compared to vermicelli you can get on the ave but the portions were good. Their green Thai tea was pretty amazing (sweet/refreshing). I would come back to try other things on the menu.

I recently visited this place and had an amazing experience! The coffee was delicious and made with high-quality beans, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.Their beef stew is delightful. The beef was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection, and the vegetables were soft and flavorful.Great experience overall! Highly rec!!

District 4 Cafe is a newly opened restaurant in Seattle's U-district. I tried the wintermelon iced tea, spring rolls, egg rolls, and tofu banh mi. Everything was sooo flavorful and delicious. My favorite were the spring rolls and egg rolls. The wintermelon ice tea was freshly made with jelly and tasted so refreshing. Everything is made with high-quality fresh ingredients and lots of love! The staff is also so friendly and personable which made my experience even better! Definitely check this place out .

Whoa! Everything here is amazing. District 4 Viet Cafe is a delivery and take out service in Roosevelt way. You can order on grub hub or DoorDash and Uber eats. You can also walk in to order on their kiosk. They have so many items to pick from! I love everything that we tried here. So much flavors and so delicious. Great for picnic or needing a lunch or dinner. My favorite was the banh's mi with the pate! The stir fry beef with egg noodle and grilled chicken vermicelli bowl was so refreshing and felt very homey. The drinks are also good! Definitely the spot to hit up and try.
