We've been three times now. Not just every dish, but every single bite has been a revelation. Feels like a master class in balancing ingredients. Each item on the plate is delicious by itself, and then even better with the others. No two bites are alike. And my lord, the rolls. THE ROLLS. I have eaten in a thousand restaurants by now. To get me this excited about bread??

We've been three times now and are never disappointed. The cocktails and mocktails are on point, and every item on the menu is worth a try. Love that they focus on local ingredients, and the menu changes often.

Absolutely some of the best food I've ever had. Don't believe any of the negative reviews! Likely just sour people who complain at any restaurant.Highly recommend the oysters and pear dish. Ambiance is great as well. Amazing view of the beach before dusk.

Several visits since opening - service wonderful and food lovely - in fall/winter the surroundings are too stark - price of meal was fairly steep.

Exceptional ingredients and a great experience. A little pricy but overall excellent! Had salted sturgeon, rockfish croquettes, and a wonderful pear salad. They made pork chops exciting, which seemed impossible to me. DO NOT skip dessert. Go just to try something new.

Be careful - I was charged a $50 cancellation fee because I was sick.Had a reservation a month in advance, was looking forward to our last night dinner in Seattle here, then I started to feel ill on the day of, respiratory illness that might be Covid (loss of sense of smell). There was no call from the restaurant to confirm our booking like at another Seattle restaurant days prior.I called at 1pm on the day of the reservation (Friday, all reservation times still available that evening) and Driftwood did not answer, so I left a voicemail explaining.Driftwood never called back, but hours later I got an email that the reservation was canceled through resy, and I thought that was that, but the next day $50 was charged.

Extremely disappointed with my personal experience here. I tried to go in as a walk-in to get faster service at the bar, but quickly discovered that they only have alcohol, mocktails and water as their only drink options. This doesn’t work for someone who’s a recovering alcoholic. Yes, even the mocktails. They pressure me to drink again. I’m greatly shocked that they don’t have any soda options.I’ve tried emailing them on several occasions to talk to them about this, but no one has gotten back to me. It’s now been months.I loved the atmosphere of this establishment and the people there, but this place is just not accessible for people like us.

PNW concept plates. I liked the sour simple syrup agar gummies in the cocktails. Decor and view are chill and pretty. Sat at the bar as walk-ins; will probably go the same again. Would not bring the Kid; too serene a vibe for Kid and vice versa.

If you like Fresh and Local this is the place for you. The menu changes often because they do stuff in season. The pear salad was a must yum and I tried the pork chops also tender and great.

Wonderful restaurant. I really appreciate the fresh menu and innovation…I am beyond bored of every other restaurant selling the same tartare and Brussels and Driftwood really raises the bar. Excellent, well-balanced drinks, super friendly staff, QUIET atmosphere (you can actually hear your table mate speaking!); the food was seasoned well and surprised me at every turn. The Dungeness crab was a standout, as was the uni brioche.

Went as a treat for valentines day, loved the wine selection, really highlighted some delicious PNW wines. Ordered a number of delicious courses, but the mussels were outstanding, extremely fresh with perfect seasoning, as was the steak. Will definitely be back for next valentines day.

Curated menu of hyper local ingredients offers up a lot of intriguing flavors and innovations. Crab fat butter was delicious and the pork chop was the right balance of rich and savory.

The rockfish we enjoyed was the best I've ever had. The flavors in the bowl were layered and very interesting. I kept eating slower and slower because I didn't want the meal to be over. So so so good!!
