They add a 5% fee on top of all their menu prices. It’s called out in tiny print at the bottom of the menu. IMHO this is a dishonest practice. If I had a tiny print on my shirt that said “I will pay restaurants 5% less than the bill in order to provide my family with fair living conditions” they would not accept it. It’s a sneaky way for them to raise prices but hope customers don’t notice.

Solid wine list. Execution on food was mediocre at best. Ignore the fuss, not worth a try. Shame on James Beard for considering this place….

This place is on the pricey end but we gotta say the dishes we had there were delicious: duck breast, Neah Bay black cod, and spicy fried eggplant ?

What a find! I will definitely be back the next time I am in Seattle. The perfect combination of sophistication while still being warm and friendly. The entire experience just felt so good. And the food!!! Oh my. There were so many things we wanted to try that we simply shared a bunch of plates with the table. Every bite was another wow. I could not have enjoyed the meal more. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome! The food is so delicious at its price point. New American food with a spanish twist is the perfect combination. I didnt get a photo but the sourdough with dungeness crab butter was my favorite. I would go back just for the bread. The duck carnitas were almost caramelized and had crispy bits that were reminiscent of bacon or duck skin. The avocado crema was super fresh and limey. The saskatoon was between a cobbler and a coffee cake. Super warm with crispy bits. I'd love to come back to try their other desserts, particularly the ice creamsThe service was very sweet and attentive. Filling our waters regularly from an ice cold bottle. Make sure to come earlier or have a reservation as they fill up pretty fast.

What an amazing local restaurant. The zero proof cocktails are as delicious and inventive, not bogged down with sugar. Service was attentive. The food was beautiful and tasted flavorful. Definitely coming back. It's appropriately priced for the experience.Dietary restrictions: They accommodated vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy free options.

I've been a regular guest and arranged a dinner with about a dozen people and both experiences were great. The service is top notch, friendly, professional but also really fun and natural. The ingredients are fresh and local and the flavors are bold. We loved the duck carnitas tostada and the ceviche. It was easy to accommodate vegetarian, dairy free, or gluten free guests. They have excellent non-alcoholic options and great regular cocktails as well. One of the most enjoyable new restaurants in Seattle and you can tell that they care.
