Creamy, good and creative flavors, on the pricey side for ice cream. I like that they have a super mini option. A couple bar seats and island in the middle of the shop. They have pints and ice cream sandwiches to go.

Good but not great ice cream (all vegan). But today two medium scoops cost me 25 dollars. Give me a break Seattle....

(Visited on January 29, 2024)Vegan ? Ice Cream ?Try three flavors and choose brown sugar vanilla! There is an additional charge for the waffle cone - the price is expensive - it's good because it's not sweet, but the taste is so-so. (By my standards) The portion is large for the price, but I couldn't eat it all ?

Frankie & Jo's may not be the "creamiest" ice cream that I've ever had; however, when you take into account the health aspect, I don't know how you could have better ice cream. I went in and tried multiple flavors between what we ordered and samples and each ice cream packed a ton of unique flavors that were vibrant, different and really good. They have your traditional chocolates and vanillas, but they also carry a number of other flavors that you just don't expect which were great. As someone who has family members with daily and gluten allergies, this was a great treat for them.

I'm not vegan, but I'm always down to try a new vegetarian/vegan place. In the middle of University Village is a quaint little ice cream parlor that sits maybe 6 people. The cool thing about the ice cream is there is no dairy. The day that we went was slightly crowded, but no real lines forming, and the scooper(?) was very accommodating and we got to try most of the different flavours before finally ordering. My favorite was a strawberry milk flavored one made with fresh strawberries. I got it in a waffle cone, which was also vegetarian. Healthy never tasted so good.

This ice cream spot is a celiac and dairy-free persons dream! Everything, including the waffle cone, is gluten free and allergen information is clearly listed. All the flavors are delicious. I especially enjoy the seasonal options.

Love finding allergy friendly options, both gluten-free and dairy free options. Staff was friendly and encouraged tasting a few different flavors, glad I did as some were stronger than others. Flavors were fairly good, pricing was a little high-but kinda expected with a plant-based, allergen friendly product. Love the compostable single use items. Very fun vibe and clean inside!

Best ice cream shop in Seattle! People often prefer Molly Moon's which is a great alternative but I honestly love the consistency and flavors here. Something about the place being vegan makes you feel like it's healthier (even though the coconut cream probably isn't, whoops). Definitely check it out one of its two locations!

Awesome Awesome delicious!!! Worth the $$$$. A $12 Flight of 3 flavors has enough to share with 3 or 4 other people! Seriously!! Pure bliss!

How I heard of this place: It's been a number of years since a friend first told us about Frankie & Jo's. But it wasn't on our radar until we ended up at the University Village with family visiting from out of state, that we indulged. Type of cuisine: Plant-based, novelty ice creams. Ambiance: Quaint and cozy, bright and minimalist, the barquettes intending to keep customers standing and out when all that remains of their treats is melted dredges. What I ordered: We selected the Strawberry Milk, the Chocolate Tahini Supercookie, Mint Brownie, and Brown Sugar Vanilla. What I loved: The novelty of flavors was intriguing. Each, however left something to be desired. Why I loved it: The mission of Frankie & Jo's is great and one we wish more eateries would adopt. Cost: High

With a completely plant-based menu, it made it extra challenging for me to narrow down which flavors I wanted. Fortunately they allowed you to sample as many flavors as you'd like, so I definitely had my fixing. Everything here is 100% vegan, gum-free, and soy-free. This avoids a lot of the top allergens which is quite impressive, as most of the flavors are coconut based. Each item on the menu also has a complete ingredients list which makes it really easy to know what you are consuming. I ultimately went with a double scoop of their Supercookies & Cream, and their Salted Caramel Ash. Both of these flavors were incredible. The ice cream was delectably creamy and oh so satisfying. While there's not a lot of seating inside, they are located in an open plaza with plenty of tables and seats to choose from.

A good option for those with allergies and intolerances. A nice selection of creative flavors. I ordered Ash Caramel and Chocolate, and although, I love that it is dairy and gluten free it always makes my stomach hurt. My scooper, Abby, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The interior is beautiful.

Nice friendly crew. Vegan ice cream may just not be for me. The one I got had an off-putting chalkiness. Wife and kid loved theirs, though!
