This place is amazing if you visit in person! We ordered once during the pandemic and wasn’t impressed, but decided to give it another try. We were not disappointed! The menu is pretty extensive. We ordered an assortment of skewers (our favorites were the pork belly, beef and fat, and chicken gristle) which were all nicely cooked and had great flavor. We also got a side of cold cucumbers which were refreshing and slightly tart / sweet and the spicy rice noodles. My husband loved the noodles which were very comforting to eat alongside the skewers. Everything tasted very fresh, was served quickly, and decent in portion. We hit $88 and the waitstaff gifted us with a shrimp dish, which was also very yummy. After the meal, staff also gave us two yakult drinks to wash it all down. The service was also great - water and napkins were provided without us having to ask. So glad we decided to stop by! We will definitely be back to try more things!

30 bbq skewers: 3/5 - not very flavorful 30 mala skewers: 4/5 - p good, but we got a 3/5 spice and it was not very spicy Pig feet: 5/5 very good Oysters: 3/5 could be better Tendon skewer: 4/5 pretty good Overall it was okay. I think if you're craving it this is a good option, but the seasoning and spices could definitely be stronger.

Came here for a late dinner with my partner, as the reviews looked promising. Happy to say we found an authentic Northern Chinese BBQ place! They also have other dishes that are not skewers/BBQ, we got the spicy beef noodle soup and it tasted similar to how my grandma makes it! The service was also spectacular, all the waitstaff members were so kind and helpful. The food also came out pretty quickly and were good quality for the prices. We will definitely be back here and I recommend you check it out :)

Don't be fooled by what this place looks like on the outside... On the inside it's current, youthful and interesting. It seems to really be geared toward group eating, and I did go alone for lunch... But I'm super excited to go again with a group. As a solo diner, I got their hot pot to go, and it was so, so freaking delicious! I didn't realize that there was no meat in it, but the multiple varieties of mushrooms, wood ear, tofu, tofu skins... Chinese broccoli, with an amazing spice profile (tons of cumin)... It was so freaking delicious. I've been craving it ever since I got it. I cannot wait to go back.

I would like to remind everyone to be careful when going to eat at this restaurant. They take your card away and swipe it, and your credit card information will be saved!Because we went to Seattle as a group, we used the same person's card for all purchases. My friend invited me to make a guest appearance and paid with a credit card (I had not used a physical credit card for at least a month before this, and usually It’s also all Apple Pay, so why are we so sure it’s just a friendly guest who retained the credit card information)The next day, two best buy transactions were stolen! ! ! Moreover, most restaurants now swipe your card in front of you, and only friendly guests take the card away and swipe it.Every time I go to Seattle, I must eat at Friendly Guest. The food is delicious. This is the first time this has happened at Friendly Guest. Retaining credit card information may just be the behavior of a few employees! If you have surveillance, I hope the store owner can check that Monday, December 25, left around 10:30 pm. We had a table of 255 dollars for four people.
