Recently renovated and really looking great. The new look is really nice. They have a great selection of books for sale. Comfortable seating. I love their coffee. It’s really deep and strong and delicious. Parking can be hard to find.

Good spot on 45th in Wallingford. It's the usual selection of coffees, teas, and pastries, all good. It's a long, narrow cafe with a ledge and stools up front if you want to look out on the street, as well as tables and chairs in back. Many books are available for your reading pleasure. Parking is limited in the area; the two times I was there, it seemed to have mostly neighborhood people who walked to the shop. A really chill place to have a cup.Parking: Paid parking on 45th, free on the side streets but limited to two hours. As mentioned above, walking or biking is your best option.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome, as many of the books are geared toward younger readers.

Cute spot! It's not cheap--$16 for two drinks (americano and a vanilla oat latte) but that seems to be the new normal now. I love the books in the back! They do have some limited seating, although when I went all tables were full. Friendly baristas and the food options looked good (breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, some bakery items).

Great service, the barista was very nice but 7.83 for a almond milk latte. Seattle is ridiculous on pricing!! Staying home with these prices. Nothing special, coffee is on the bitter side.

The housemade chai tasted like watered down milk with indian spices, and certainly does not compare to other chais from local coffee shops. HOWEVER, the chocolate cappuccino muffin was amazing. It had the perfect balance of chocolate and coffee tastes, and the generous top coating of milk chocolate made it all the better. Wouldn't recommend for the chai, would highly recommend for the pastries!

I recently visited this charming coffee shop with an impressive selection of books. It's the perfect place for bookworms and coffee lovers alike. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a cup of coffee while delving into a good read. The staff was ok but I appreciated the thoughtful bookshelves filled with a variety of genres, providing an opportunity to explore new literary treasures. This coffee shop is a haven for those who enjoy both caffeine and literature. I'll definitely be returning to explore more books and savor their excellent brews of teas and coffee.Vegetarian options: Available but not marked clearlyDietary restrictions: Beverages can be customized but bakery items are all premadeParking: Street parking available on many streets across the storeKid-friendliness: Kids friendly atmosphere and items on menuWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible

One of the awesome cafes of community in Wallingford. I should mention a heartwarming episode at Fuel that happened during last summer — It was one of heat wave weeks in Aug and I was escaping from my apt with no A/C (!) as room temperature was almost like 89 degrees.Exhausted, I finally arrived at Fuel coffee and ordered an iced latte and then realized I forgot my wallet because my brain was half-baked, too. I told the barista that I needed to go back to my apt and it would take 20 min, and he showed the most humane action to me — “No, it’s okay, take it with you. You can pay later anytime you want. It’s crazy boiling outside and anyway we’re closing in 30 min.”Was that a halo behind his head? I could not thank more than ever because I was almost dying in my sweat at that moment. That latte literally helped me to get alive back. The very next day I went back to the cafe, and ordered the same drink (like in the picture) and paid double. I wish I knew the kind guy’s name, but definitely he earned good karma. I guarantee it.And yeah, their coffee is high-end because they roast their own beans, too. So I don’t need to cross the bridge to head Elm or Anchorhead when I need something fancy.

This coffee shop is near the clinic I go to so I stopped in after a brutal uncaffinated morning pap smear and to my delight I got a latte that would make the angels sing. Made my day. God bless this barista, I could kiss them on the mouth a thousand times.

my fav local neighborhood spot! Staff is super friendly and no tipping because their workers are paid fairly! It means higher prices but it’s way better than having folks live off of

Fuel Coffee is an absolute gem!The combination of coffee and books creates a uniquely cozy atmosphere that I absolutely love and is so very Seattle. The drinks are consistently great and made with care. Also I enjoy their breakfast tacos and hand pies. What truly sets Fuel Coffee apart for me, as a loyal customer, is the exceptional service. The entire team at Fuel is wonderful. They consistently make me feel valued with their kindness, welcoming demeanor, efficiency, patience, and personable approach. It's their consistent commitment to great service that keeps me coming back here as often as I can.Highly recommend!

Beautiful space. Excellent cortado. Tasty bakery selections (sweet and savory). Fast, friendly barista. There are even a few marked parking spaces around back if the street parking is full.

Loved the vibes from this cute book store which happened to have a nice coffee shop ;). I picked up a their flash cold brew that was light and refreshing yet very energy fueling. Would stop by again for the great service and ambiance.

Got an espresso and a bag of the Milky Way blend. The in-house espresso was great. A bit of acidity with a citrusy forward initial sip and a nice caramelly finish.Milky Way is great pulled at 95'C, 17g in 36g out in ~34s. High sweetness, strong dark cherry and chocolately finish. Great price per bag as well.

I wish they would make their vegan breakfast with something besides a ciabatta roll....it's way too hard and chewy for the cheese & sausage. When you take a bite the cheese & sausage always get pushed out the side and fall all over. I also always get a torn up mouth from this sandwich because the roll is way too hard / chewy & the sandwich is kept at such a hot temperature that the sausage gets over cooked on the sides because it's dried out. So I end up with cuts & burns in my mouth...every single time. Please change your vegan sandwich to something with a softer "bun" or biscuit.
