Visited Seattle for my bday and after walking pikes place hubby and I stopped here for a quick bite and it was great. I had the burger it was delicious and he had the chicken and lobster sandwich, honestly he didn't like it much but everything else was great. Service overall was great, our server was knowledgeable and very polite and even brought me out a dessert with a candle because of my birthday. When we come back to Seattle we're definitely stopping by here again!

A very lovely place to have dinner! The clam chowder was one of our favourites and their spirit free purple rain is a great drink to have. Our server Tom was truly amazing and so kind!

Over-priced, slow service, forced 20% gratuity.Update: The owner is requesting feedback but the provided address is rejecting emails. It is unclear if this is a technical gaffe or a false show of customer concern. I am including details of my experience below. My party of 3 was seated around 8:15pm and a few minutes later asked if we had any drink orders. A member of my party responded "No, I think we're just really hungry", at which point the server abruptly left without thinking to ask if we wanted to place our food orders. Our table was then ignored for 15-20 minutes. This experience made me resolved that I should reflect my dissatisfaction with the service in the form of a reduced tip but then, of course, 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill - this made me feel cheated and used as a patron. These issues wouldn't normally warrant a 1-star review from me but when your establishment charges $30 for a hamburger I expect a level of service to reflect that.

Visited Goldfinch Tavern for happy hour and it was a standout experience. It's still pricey! A shoutout to Johnny, our server, for being upfront about the 20% surcharge added to every check. It's a bit puzzling, honestly. At a high-end spot like this, people are tipping well anyway. Just folding it into the menu prices might simplify things, but I digress. Onto the eats: The Cheese Board was a winner, especially with the touch of honeycomb adding a sweet contrast to the savory cheeses. Marcona almonds and Chukar cherries rounded out the flavors, but the real star was the fig bread - an unexpected delight. The Prosciutto di Parma Bruschetta took a twist on the traditional with its soft, warm olive oil bread - a nice change from the usual crisp version. The truffle stracciatella added a flavor that paired well with the saltiness of the prosciutto. Despite the surcharge side note, the food and service at Goldfinch Tavern made it a worthwhile visit.

Definitely one of my favorite brunches in Seattle-- beautiful views, good food, lovely ambiance, and unlimited mimosas! For $80 per person, you can get unlimited mimosas (and they're actually refilled frequently, service was STELLAR) and a 3-course brunch, perfect for catching up with friends or family. I visited with a friend on a Saturday afternoon and though we had a reservation, we had to reschedule at the last minute and the restaurant was very accommodating. There's good variety to the menu to suit many tastes and on this occasion, I started with the shrimp cocktail (fresh and tasty--solid appetizer portion to kick off the meal), had the smoked and peppered corned beef as my entree (hearty and rich-- perfect on a cold day and a good portion size), then dessert was a trio of small tastes (perfect for closing out with a little something sweet). Outside of brunch, I would've paid more than $80 for a 3-course meal with drinks, so this was well worth it for a nice day out on the town with a friend. Bonus points for a beautiful, clean bathroom too. It's important to note, the unlimited mimosa brunch isn't mandatory and you could instead order items a la carte if preferred. Can't wait to visit again!

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely relaxed lunch on a gray and rainy day prior to visiting an exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum. I selected the lunch special: a duck confit salad that included some tasty fermented-style cabbage. It seemed Provençal so I paired it with a nice dry rose' from Provence. My spouse ordered the salmon salad which he reported was perfectly prepared. Our server was friendly, attentive and elegant. We'll be back.

We've been here many times for brunch. This time was to celebrate Galentine's Day They have a pre-fixe brunch menu, which includes bottomless mimosas, your choice of an appetizer and entrée, and a dessert trio this is a great deal for $80. You can also order these food items A la carte. For our drinks we had: Old fashioned Blush Smoked Manhattan Mimosa Mezcal Negroni For our food we had: Avocado toast BYO omelet Ham Benedict Smoked and peppercorn corned beef Food and drinks were delicious and our server was a gem! We will definitely be returning. @seatownbrunchbaddies

Food and service was good but we were a part of two coming separately. Even though I told them that the other person will be coming in few minutes under my reservation, they had us both sit at the two end of the restaurant. After around 15+ minutes later, we were able to connect ourselves only to realize that the staff did not pay any attention to the guests. We wasted a lot of time just waiting and not able to complete the discussion and meeting.

Despite being part of one of Seattle's best hotels, the restaurant is below par. The Huckleberry Waffle is listed as coming with caramelized figs but did not -- and no one let me know that it had been replaced with berries. The flavors were hard to find and both the bacon and waffles were served room temperature. There are SO MANY amazing restaurants in Seattle, don't waste your time with this one.

Despite the hype, I found this restaurant to be below average. The service is slow, and the food lacks taste. The view and the vibe is decent though. I visited twice during my stay at the hotel, once for dinner and once for breakfast. While dinner improved with added salt and pepper, the avocado toast had a strong oily scent and lacked flavor. The presentation, however, was visually appealing, providing an opportunity for a good food photo :).

While overall we enjoyed our dining experience it was not to the level we anticipated. The recommended attire was either "smart casual" or "sharp casual" - don't recall now. Most guests were dressed down from that considerably and it was a bit noisy as we sat by a window that was adjacent to the bar. The service was a bit slow and check backs were limited. We both liked our meals, but they did not approach "outstanding". We were due at our next engagement and I had to request the bill in order to make it on time. We don't get opportunities to dine out in higher class restaurants very often and I think our visit was a bit of a let down from our expectations and a bit over priced relative to that experience.

We visited on Valentines Day, looking forward to ordering from their ambitious menu. We were disappointed to be presented with a very limited, and expensive prix-fixe menu. Fortunately, our waiter suggested ordering from the happy hour menu, and we noticed that the couples around us did the same. My wife and I watch our diets and eat only salads and healthy entrees; three-course prix-fixe menus don't appeal to us.

My expectations were to high coming here but it was an ok experience. Food was ok and service was extremely slow although we came in at a late lunch on Wednesday. Veiw was ok as well as the restaurant is on the main floor. Valet parking is pricey at $25.00 for 2 hours. In all it was an ok experience but we won't be back for the restaurant at least.

Our waiter was very kind but the food didn’t meet my expectation at all. We brought a flower bouquet and the waiter even gave us a bucket of water for the flowers. Way overpriced than it tastes. 3 people in our party ordered squid ink pasta and all of them got left over. The spaghetti was too thick which doesn't get paired with the sauce and the amount of seafood was so small and little which worth of $32. I had duck but the taste was oily boring and without any spark.Radish helped a little but not much. It felt like I had to finish the dish because it worth $54 before tax. Starters were okay but not great with really small amount. Very disappointed with food comparing to the price and the venue.
