Beautiful place with amazing atmosphere and great services. However, the food is only ok, your local turkish spot is going to have better kebabs, salads, etc. Also, the restaurants is likely 75-80 degrees because of the wood fire grill they use.

Once you walk in you are greeted with a great atmosphere and super friendly owners and staff. We ordered all the appetizers and shared them with the group before the individual dinner plates. Lots of wonderfully interesting flavors. A small kitchen with lots of attention to every detail Perfect for a fun evening out.Vegetarian options: Each items has clear indications like Veg, GF.

The lamb is absolutely incredible. The dry aged steak runs out early so plan ahead. Every dish was expertly prepared and very well balanced. It’s in my top ten restaurants in Seattle.

This place is absolutely one of the best restaurants in the city the chef Berk was introduced by Seattle times and this is his own restaurant after he worked in several amazing placesI loved Kufte, Lamb and celery absolutely you should try their dulma not a fan if pide and kebab but it was not badI say for this place I expect better restroomsThe vibe and dining is beautiful and cozyService and attention they give to their customers is amazingLong wait time so I recommend reservationThey do ask for 20% service fee which I think they deserve it but it shouldn’t be mandatory

Phenomenal! We are truly lucky to have Hamdi in Seattle. The food is exquisite, the service and atmosphere are a true delight. Don’t get distracted by any of the bad reviews. Anyone can find fault in the best of circumstances. We have eaten here many times and every time we had a wonderful date-night. We can’t wait to go back.

This review is about the overall experience. The food was really good but given the different restaurants I have tried in Seattle, the food is definitely on the pricer side with smaller portions. Also, the cocktails, quite average (at those prices Seattle has mindblowing cocktail scene), so I would recommend sticking to wine. Also, when I visit such restaurants, I atleast expect that the washrooms are clean, have basic amenities like TP, which was not the case. Some may disagree, but for me it is the overall experience that matters. Anyway, try it once, you will not be disappointed with the food (but may not be a repeat for me).

My friend and I had a great time at Hamdi a few weeks ago! The waiter recommended we get 6-8 dishes between the two of us but we got 4 and a dessert and felt very full. The food is incredibly rich and delicious. The lamb was the star of the show (did not snag a photo- I was too excited and we immediately dug into it)! I would recommend you get the lamb for sure.Overall, the food is definitely on the pricer side with smaller portions, but such a treat! One of the co-owners showed us the kitchen and gave us a little tour. We felt incredibly welcomed! Would recommend for a celebratory dinner.
The experience was AMAZING starting at the greeting, all the way through! HIGHLY recommend!!!Pomegranate molasses is arguably life changing ?♂️

We recently went to Hamdi and from our initial interactions with the staff all the way to the dessert, it was a wonderful experience. The food was so good and this was one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to a medium rare. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been looking forward to trying Hamdi since its opening and finally managed it for a birthday dinner. Yes, we were seated 20 min after our reservation, but the experience was well-worth the wait. Katrina was a great host and told us fun stories about the food, wine and her travels. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. Every single thing we ordered was amazing. Berk is so gifted! Of course, I loved the lamb shoulder, but the dolmas was different and delicious. The celery root and yogurt app was the table fav. The pide knocked me dead. Definitely try the Turkish wine. I’m so full…and can’t wait to go back!
