I really was hoping to like the food, but it's a no for me. I ordered with 2pc reg w/fries and a side of gravy. Despite the chicken being mad crispy, it didn't taste like anything. The chicken is lacking flavor, and ?? for them not cleaning the fat off the chicken thigh.On to the gravy ....based on the look and consistency, I just knew it would be bomb! It tasted burnt, that's literally the only flavor that was present, was a burnt flavor.I wish the items I had tasted better because I strongly dislike having to rate establishments under 3, but I have to be honest of my experience and the taste of the food.

I guess this is actually owned by Ezell Stephens, whereas Ezell's has been bought out and now just uses his name. Unfortunately, Ezell's is also a bit cheaper and the chicken tastes identical to me.

This is the REAL Ezell's. Mr. Ezell owns Heaven Sent - having sold his namesake store long ago. THIS is where you get great fried chicken! They have solid sides - the Mac n Cheese is solid here - and yummy rolls. They have gizzards and chicken livers - which any great soul chicken place should have.The staff here is very polite and even though the little stand isn't terribly comfortable, I don't mind waiting for my order because the people are nice.In closing: Please, Mr. Ezell, come back and open another branch south of Seattle. I come from Tacoma sometimes for your delicious chicken. We miss your Renton branch!!!

The best fried chicken tenders, juicy, crispy, spiced just right and fresh every time. Fairly cheap for what you get and you can taste the quality. Staff is also really welcoming, helpful, and thoughtful.Parking: Easy parking by Starbucks and recently closed Walgreens.
The chicken strips are my absolute favorite. Been here countless times. Staff is always cool. The strips take longer to cook than I prefer, but they are worth the wait. Their fried chicken is great too. I just prefer the regular strips. I could eat them every day. All the food is very good though. The fries and/or fried okra are my favorite sides. Just some good food!

It was average fried chicken. Wasn’t seasoned or out of this world juicy. We also got coleslaw, mashed potatoes and gravy, along with a few rolls. Overall wasn’t super memorable.
Order through Uber Eats. Chicken was extremely fry and very overcooked!

Now I've been around since Ezell's first started in 83 82 the first one on 23rd and Jefferson I used to stay right on 22nd and Jefferson hands down as for right now Heaven Sent is the real ezelles the only difference is they can't use the name but the food tastes exactly the same as it did to me in 1982-83 84 Sony Etc because taste a little commercial in a bad way but Heaven Sent that's the spot
