FIRE SOFT SERVE!!! probably one of my fave ice cream spots in seattle! it is a window outside of secret fort so there isn't any seating, unless you're also eating at secret fort/yoroshiku. i love the texture of their soft serve, so smooth and creamy, not overly sweet. they have the option to add toppings, the mbr is yummy, it has a brown sugar syrup and mochi, which are very soft and chewy. my favorite though is their seasonal creme brulee sweet potato! it has a sweet potato puree, then a creme brulee top! it was so good, i wish it was a permanent menu item.

This is such a cute place got the Hokkaido milk ice cream with the MBR and it was absolutely delightful they also had the sweet potatoes crème brulee this time and I think that was probably my favorite

Such yummy dessert in the Wallingford area. The soft serve is very creamy. Love the MBR toppings. Mochi is perfect chewiness. Line can get long so go early

Love it. I personally like sweet potatoes so am loving the combination of Hokkaido ice cream and sweet potatoes' taste.

Honestly a bit underwhelming. I got the hokkaido milk with the mochi brown sugar topping. It was just ok - the ice cream itself has zero flavor so definitely get a topping. My friend got the sweet potato brûlée and that was better but overall not worth the long line (which there always is). Outdoor seating only, walk up window at this location (Wallingford).

I first tried indigo cow when they just opened, and I remember my partner and I weren't impressed bc the soft serve was strangely icy. We figured it was maybe bc they just opened and said we'd come back to retry someday. We finally did this past weekend, and it was truly night and day. I think we may have just gotten a bad batch the first time or something. The soft serve this time was so good and creamy! I got the swirl with matcha, which I loved. You could actually taste the matcha, and it went so well with the creamy milk flavor. I also got the mochi but I didn't love it because I wanted the mochi to be chewier, so I probably wouldn't get that again. Def would come back again for the swirl and to try the chocolate drizzle!

So creamy and delicious. I understand why the line goes down the block, luckily it moves fairly fast. Order at the little window and be ready to say what you'd like. Wait at window until it is served. Eat quickly because it melts fast. There were some covered picnic tables to sit at in front of the window on the side of the street so it's fairly noisy. Will definitely be back again - I want to try all the flavor combinations and toppings!

I've had ice cream from this place before and really enjoyed it, but I just had the sweet potato creme brulee ice cream and it was one of the tastiest desserts I've ever had. Perfect amount of everything, perfect balance, so tasty, I just wish I had ordered a regular size instead of a small.

I got the new Yaki Imo Creme Brulee seasonal soft serve and I think it's their best flavor yet! You can really taste the yam and the brulee was an amazing added crunchy texture to the creaminess of the yam and the lightness of the soft-serve. My friends and I were very lucky because we lined up late at night and we got the last few of these of the night. Indigo Cow is a cute little pass-through service so everything comes super fast. There's some cute outdoor seating too though with fairy lights, adding to the cozy outdoor vibe. While the wait is long sometimes, the workers get you ur ice cream quick! Indigo Cow is probably the best soft serve in Seattle if you are looking for something quick and delicious

Absolutely magical experience- got the yaki-imo bruleed Hokkaido soft serve with mitarashi dango and it was so roasty and toasty, caramelized, and balanced. Unlike any ice cream flavorings I've ever had, so good.

As someone who doesn't like sweets, the Hokkaido milk soft serve is just perfect. I'm sure that the other flavors they offer here are just as delicious, but in my opinion, there's nothing that beats the Hokkaido milk flavor with their signature Shiratama Kuromitsu Kinako topping. They keep their menu small because honestly why would they need to add anything else when the Hokkaido milk is already so amazing? Not really any place to sit down because this spot is just a window that you walk up to, but that's okay because my soft serve will not last long anyway. I definitely make sure to stop by any time I'm in the area. The service is generally pretty quick and friendly.

Indigo Cow has always been on my list to try as I wanted to see what Hokkaido soft serve was all about. The soft serve was very creamy and milky! There were some bits I felt where it was a bit more icier than others but could be easily overlooked. It is also not too sweet at all (which is a HUGE compliment for desserts in Asian terms), which means that everyone would be able to enjoy. I got the MBR which is mochi, brown sugar syrup, and soybean powder. They had ran out of mochi before I ordered which was sad, but offered to give me dango as a substitute. I had never had dango before but the chewiness definitely added a nice texture to the soft serve. The brown sugar syrup and soybean powder added a sweetness and more flavor to the Hokkaido milk. Overall was a very pleasant dessert. Don't come too late in the night like I did if you want to try other things on the menu. I think those tend to sell out earlier in the day so recommend you come then! I would really like to try the sweet potato brulee soft serve they have been advertising. But it should be noted that it might be difficult to find parking depending on when you come.

Girlfriend wanted a sweet treat after dinner, so I had to search up desert place and landed here. I've always heard about their Japanese Hokkaido soft serve and I'm glad I made a stop because was delicious. The lie was super long but they took order and served people pretty fast so went by quick. They only have one flavor so wasn't a lot decision but we got the strawberry sauce and MBR, I liked the fruitiness strawberry add onto the ice cream and girlfriend liked the MBR. Would definitely recommend if you crave dessert and like things that's "not too sweet".

Ordered a valentine’s special and Hokkaido milk ice cream with strawberry sauce and dango. I like the flavours, not too sweet, perfect for a date night pick up. It wasn’t any different or special but it was a good ice cream. The sauce was dripping all over as can be seen in the picture- so it wasn’t convenient at all. I had to rush through the whole ice cream in chilly winter (there’s only outdoor seating available)Maybe I’ll try again in summer- this time in a cup and update this review?
