What a delightful little restaurant! The food is delicious, although I would have preferred the Zaalouk to be warm. We loved the spicy olives & Maakouda. Our server was friendly & professional, but not as hands-on as I usually prefer. However, the food came out promptly, brought by a runner & the 2 cocktails we had were A+ (also made by the server). However, please find a substitute for plastic straws! I recommend this restaurant for a really fun & tasty experience ?.Vegetarian options: Delicious spices & several vegan choices

Food was amazing, like unbelievably amazing. However, we had a pretty big issue. First off, it was a busy night and our server forgot about us, but things happen and we were having a good time so we weren’t upset about it. It was my first time at the restaurant, my partner had been here many times before. So he ordered for me because he knows what I like and he knows what’s good. In the middle of him telling our waitress what I’d be having she rudely interrupted him and in the nastiest way possible says “I think she can speak for herself”. Like what??? I ordered my own drink and I was interacting with her and complimented her dress before that happened so I was deeply confused. We were both in such shock. I still have no words. If I had to pick one it would just be CONFUSED.

Absolutely by far and away my favorite restaurant in West Seattle and honestly.... maybe all of Seattle!Perfect small plates, wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff. TRY IT!!!
Used to be one of my favorite places to go. We recently went right when the place was opened for the day. There no were other patrons and the server very curtly told us that we could only sit at a seat for two. Being larger bodied people, I was going to ask for a larger table, but we complied. When we ordered, she brought out our food and it was more than could comfortably fit on the table. I moved my water glass and water pitcher to the table next to us (the place was empty except us and one other couple) to make some room. The server very quickly marched over to our table and curtly swiped the water glass and water pitcher off the table stating that this was a space for other patrons to sit and walked away with both.Itto’s what happened to your chill vibe? Completely unnecessary. If you keep providing rude and stuck up service, you will lose loyal customers who have been coming to enjoy your delicious eats and cocktails for years; no matter how good the food is. Very disappointed.

I ordered a lamb burger at the bar and it was delicious. the goat cheese, lamb and grilled onion worked really well together. The English muffin style bun was crispy and worked surprisingly well too.

What a wonderful evening. Great food and delightful cocktails. Made our first night in Seattle one to remember.
Won’t be going back, I’m afraid. I wasn’t even acknowledged for the first 10 minutes. Uncomfortable seating / tables - large glasses don’t allow room on the tables for your food. Very noisy environment.Our tenderloin was drowning in truffle oil. Service was lacking - had to repeatedly ask for more water / ordering food / the bill. (The busser was more attentive and aware than our own server.)

Oh, this was delightful and delicious! It was my 1st time here. We took the table next to the kitchen (generally I know that table isn't ideal) and watched all the mouth watering food come out so we knew what to order. The food was incredible. I would definitely eat here again. Oh, seating is a little cozy, you can practically brush elbows with the table next to you. If you need space to spread out, this might not be your place. I will definitely be back, so I can try more and develop some favorites.
