It was so cold inside the restaurant that we were not able to for thoroughly.Enjoy our food the pieces of fish.Were so small.I got a three piece and they ended up giving me four pieces which was nice.

I honestly love this place. The staff is always so helpful and kind. Food is par for the course for Ivar's which is excellent. I always get the Cajun fish and chips and occasionally some of the white clam chowder when I'm feeling extra.

Ordered online. Food was ready and server sorted into two bags, "Hot" and "Cold". Ivar's chowder with fresh baked and cored sourdough bowl was unbelievably fresh and Full of clams!! Fish and chips was so much food it was 1/2 dinner and lunch the next day.

We are well acquainted with Ivar's. We went to the Ivar's by Washington University. we used the outside venue. Spent 75 dollars and received some pretty mediocre food. The clam strips seemed like they were mostly small, just breading chunks that were deep fried (perhaps the last pieces in a box or bag) and the shrimp cocktail was watery and so suspect for being old and dangerous to eat we did not even eat it. We experienced this on Tuesday, January 30th about noon. Very disappointed.

I found a long hair in my food. I recommend avoiding this it's not worth it. All of the Ivar's locations in the area are similarly cheap and dirty.

I really enjoy going to any of the Ivar's Seafood Bars. The menu is the same and the fish and chips so delicious. It's a Seattle area iconic restaurant.
Hot, fresh food! Very friendly. Clean. Lots of tartar with my order and a few Andes mints for after. I love ivars!!

I've been coming to this Ivar's for a few years. Or when they run the Seahawks Blue Friday specials. I've always picked it up to go and take home to hubby. But their dining room does look clean & pleasant. The staff is always friendly & efficient. I've never had a problem with my order. The blue Friday specials change a little each year but they're normally a pretty good deal. Regular prices are a little spendy for "fast food" but the quality of food is very good. If you've never been I would highly recommend getting a cup of their clam chowder & an order of their fish and chips.

Ivars is a local favorite for seafood in Seattle. For me, I thought it was decent. I got the seafood combo n chips, just to get a taste of multiple of their seafood options (the fried fish, the fried clams, and the fried shrimp). If the seafood there, I actually liked the fried clams the best. The fish and the shrimp worked well enough, but just weren't that interesting. The fries were also pretty nice. The clam chowder (which this place is also known for) tastes all right, but it was kind of weird. It had an interesting aftertaste that I can only describe as being like microwaved hot dogs, which I've never tasted in clam chowder before. Maybe I'll try again one day, as I did like a few items here.
