Good food but staff is not kind at all

The baristas at Venture are unbelievably nice. If you walk in, they gonna give you a damn compliment, regardless of how nice or disheveled you look. They gonna tell you your dog is cute regardless of how sweet or pesky he is. And they're gonna serve you an excellent chai with a delicious pastry (get the Kouign Amann or the cheesy tomato danish-- we forgot what it's called but it's good). If we could give them 6 stars, I would. Thanks, y'all!

Stopped for coffee before going to the Ballard Farmers Market. BF had drip coffee and I had a Matcha latte with oat milk. Wasn't really impressed with the coffee and latte. Matcha latte was lukewarm and seemed like there was not a lot of matcha in it.

Just a lovely neighborhood coffee shop — the coffee is delicate but strong, the chai is spicy and the pastries are holy cow great! Grateful for this little spot.Vegetarian options: List of meat-free pastries

Not my favorite coffee shop. 8oz Seattle fog was a total of $6.06 including tax for an 8oz cup, and it was incredibly unimpressive. Slightly colder than I'd expect, but I guess the benefit was I could drink right away without burning my tongue.I mainly came here to get some work done and unfortunately had to take some calls. Wifi dropped during my 3 hours here... fairly busy on a Tuesday during work day.I'm sure the food and coffee is better... I just didn't love the vibes, price for what I got, and noise levels for working. I think I prefer larger coffee shops with a low buzz. This spot would be nice if you're chatting with folks in person.

I’ve been looking for a pour over for a couple of days and finally came across Venture Coffee Co, and it was just what I needed. They had a few different options for the pour over and I ended up going with the strawberry infused one. It legitimately smelled and tasted like it was infused with strawberries, it was delicious. They have tons of options to buy coffee, and I ended up getting a bag.The atmosphere is cool with plenty of seating and people moving in and out constantly. There looked to be really good baked goods as well.

Came to this busy spot for coffee. Line out the door and the pastry case is filled with Danish on steroids! Everything came in the size big and bigger! Ordered an Americano and unfortunately the coffee was bitter and sour. Majorly disappointed. If I had time to ask for a redo I would've.

Excellent coffee at this place. Will happily return regularly to slurp it.A few suggestions if I may:1) for those sitting down at the establishment to consume, it would be nice to have no trash generated. It would be nice not to use a plastic cup to drink water from, and to have my pastry wrapped in a throw away wrapper, only to be thrown away a few minutes later after I eat it. Scanning the other tables, most everyone has disposable cups and plates and wrappers. It would be much classier and much nicer to the earth to use good old fashioned glass, ceramic, and silverware for these purpose.2) most people think tip culture is getting out of hand. I agree. Here’s a refreshing idea. Pay the workers and yourselves whatever you think is fair, charge us accordingly, and don’t hit up the customers with the tip query after the pay. 18, 22, or 25%. Most customers find this prompt unappealing and would rather it weren’t a part of the transaction.

Loved this coffee shop with modern decor and Seattle’s rustic touch. Excellent customer service and amazing coffee ☕️ + goodies.Food and Coffee:Think of all the yummy flavors and choices in coffee and pastries - you’ll be delighted to find it here. Scones, croissants, freshly made flavored breads and all the goodies. Loved kobenhavn latte, banana flavored latte, almond croissant and vanilla banana marble cake. The flavors used are housemade and all ingredients are sourced locally.Ambience:Indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful decorations creates a lovely ambience to sip and enjoy. There are lots of people working on laptops and folks catching up. It can be tad bit noisy due to the crowd and staff announcing orders ready to pickup at the counter.Overall this place is a gem serving Seattle area from almost 3 decades!Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for vegetariansDietary restrictions: All drinks can be customized for dairy choicesParking: Street parking available in the area; can get difficult to find during peak timesKid-friendliness: Lots of options for kidsWheelchair accessibility: This place is ♿️ accessible

Favorite coffee shop in Ballard! It's welcoming but not presumptuous, and has a great selection of pastries in addition to drinks. My personal favorite is their Seattle Fog tea latte.

They make all their syrups in house!!! Caramel Bananas Foster is one and lots of others! Very pleasant and competent baristas. Can't wait to come back!
