Very good and filling bento lunch from a cute yet modern hole-in-the-wall type place. Not to mention the price is very reasonable for downtown Seattle so you get your money’s worth! I’d recommend ordering ahead as it gets busy during lunch. Also they’re not messing around when it comes to their spicy katsu.

Accidentally found the place while staying at a local hotel, good food, and at a fantastic price compared to the rest of downtown

Very nice and kind atmosphere! We had Bulgogi beef and poke bowl. Both were awesome even from Korean's perspective. Excellent service and fresh salad too! Definitely will come back:) I think it would be good for people from Korea to eat here. There is no place to sit and eat inside, but there is a place in the building right next door (on the Starbucks side) where you can have a quick meal at a large table, so I enjoyed it. The vegetables were fresh and the meat didn't smell. It's so soft and so kind!! For this much in the 30s... this price, this amount, this taste in this location!! I recommend it

Fresh fish, quick and great service! Their poke, rolls, and sashimi are better than their chicken teriyaki.

Popular, fun spot in the business district of Seattle. This place is mostly a to-go spot, I would recommend getting it on the fly. Very fast service, and the food is pretty good. Very typical bento experience, and the food is great. Nothing over the top about this place, no-frills with a wide menu selection. Would definitely stop by again.

Such a great spot tucked away next to a parking garage to pick up lunch. There's no seating inside, so you'll have to take your food away. You can order at the counter or there's a self-serve kiosk that you can put an order in yourself too. I tried a nigiri bento and the seared salmon inari. Everything was so delicious and fish tasted super fresh! I'd definitely come back again another time for lunch.

joybento is a small kitchen serving sushi, teriyaki and poke. It's located inside of a parking garage right off the street between 2nd and 3rd. It's got no seating inside so it's only to go. They make everything right as you order and have 3-5 people working in the tiny kitchen to get food to you fast. Their menu has a decent amount of items on it, and although it's slightly on the higher side in price, the portion sizes are good and taste is phenomenal. Their Inari is pretty plump and flavorful, bento boxes are heavy, gyoza is a mix of soft and crunchy, and their rolls are fresh. Their service is great too, very friendly and super quick. Definitely a top lunch spot if you're in the downtown area, but get there before it gets packed around noon!

I was so disappointed that this place wasn't as good as I'd hoped. My rice was so mushy and California roll didn't taste very fresh and for some reason it tasted extra salty. The side potato salad was way too sweet. The seasoning was way off. I hope this is a fluke. I might try it again but order other menu items. The service however, was great. I really like that I can order on this font iPad thing.

Joy Bento was about a four minute walk from my work place, so we'd often swing by to grab some lunch if we had a short lunch break that day! I had their katsu on my first day of work, and it was really good! They also offer sides, and I got the potato salad, which I wouldn't really recommend. I did get their salmon poke bowl another time and thought it was pretty yummy too. Prices are pretty fair, it's very convenient because they're also pretty fast, and the workers are super sweet! I wouldn't say that the food was super special or anything, but it's definitely a solid choice that won't disappoint!

The karaage chicken is what they are most known for and it is really good. When trying just regular chicken Teriaki it was pretty dry. The rice is often either undercooked or stale, it’s just not great. The side salads and sauces are good. The salmon roll was surprisingly good and they include a lot of salmon and avocado in there, works as a small lunch in itself.

This was literally so good. It' a tiny place inside the entrance to a parking garage. You order on a tablet at the front. I got thr half beef half chicken with gyoza and Korean potato salad and I would recommend everything I ate. With tax it was about $18 but it was a lot of food. When I got there around 12:05 it wasn't busy but when I left five minutes later the line was out the door.
