Best Thai food around! Try their Thai coconut soup- you won't be disappointed. Their Thai iced tea is really good too!

This is my favorite restaurant for Thai food. The food is amazing. I moved away 3 years ago, but just recently passed through Seattle. Even though I was only passing through for a day, I made it a point to visit Krungthep while I was there. Also, they have great customer service. Please bring back in room dining!

They only do pickup orders now but the food is delicious. I really wish they would put duck back on the menu.

This is take out only. It is my favorite Thai restaurant in Burien. I always order the pumpkin curry. Love it over rice. Noodles, chicken, and meat options are all great. We haven’t been disappointed yet. We always try to order something new along with our favorites.

Everything was awesome but just a take out so atmosphere is based off grabbing take out and going. The resturant was welcoming, interaction with staff pleasant and food was awesome. It was also packed so nicely with no spillage even drinks. I was very disappointed at another thai resturant I tried near by but this resturant did not disappoint. The only issue was the directions from google maps but will definitely go back and order again. I ordered the yellow curry, chicken satay and fresh spring rolls and all were awesome and so fresh.Parking: Open free parking no issuesWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp and stairs accessible

Apparently its a new chef tonight and the food is terrible. In the swimming angel - basically just spinach and undercooked tofu. In the yellow curry, undercooked potatoes, onions, and tofu. All orders bland AF. Terrible decision on this "new chef"

This place used to be my absolute favorite Thai restaurant, but something has changed; we'd get the crispy garlic chicken every time, but the last few times it has had so much fish sauce that it tastes more of fish than chicken. We ordered it twice more giving them the benefit of the doubt, hoping it was a fluke, but evidently not. They used to have really good peanut sauce, but now it tastes like nothing more than coconut milk and peanut butter. Twice now we have received dishes that were substantially spicier than the level of heat we ordered, to the point where someone who loves spicy food found it inedible. They were good and remade the food at no charge the first time, but we didn't bother the second time as we really didn't want to go back out to pick it up. It's sad, but I just don't think we'll come back any more.

Over all. It was good food and will be back. Take out only. 2nd time trying from a few years ago and it's still good.

Delicious Thai food! I had tofu Tom Yum and my partner had chicken Pad Kee Mao. We split some spring rolls as well. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the menu items were priced very reasonably. The restaurant also looked very clean when I went in to pick up my order. My only criticism is that the Tom Yum had only mushrooms and tofu and no veggies. That was disappointing. The flavor was on point though. Heads up: this place only does takeout orders.

They now have a sit-down restaurant at the end of the strip mall on 177th and 1st, and YOU NEED TO COME HERE! First, the ambience: the restaurant is nicely decorated and well-lit, and the running waterfall/pond at front is a nice background noise. They also have good music playing, just loud enough to not hear the other diner's conversations but not so loud you CAN'T converse. Second: service is fast, super-friendly and gives you the sense that you're honestly welcome in their restaurant (some places I've been lately it seems like they're either annoyed you've come or just forget about you entirely). Third: THE FOOD IS AMAZING! Doesn't matter what you order - I think it's all delicious...very fresh ingredients, always hot and crispy not mushy like it's been sitting around. Pro tip: if you come at lunchtime, you can order off their entree menu and ask for the lunch special, and they'll give you a plate with rice, phad thai, and a spring roll for the same price (presumably the entree is smaller, but I can easily make the lunch plate into two meals) Seriously, this place will be your new go-to for Thai food. Its wonderful!!

We've been enjoying Krungthep Thai for a long time but didn't like the drive from Normandy Park. I'm happy to say the new restaurant "Krungthep Thai & Pho Restaurant is equally excellent and has indoor dining (unlike the Burien location). We love the Pad See Ew, Shrimp fried rice and Crispy Garlic Chicken. Friendly folks and speedy service.

This has been our go to Thai restaurant. Sometimes we overdo it and take a break but always go back because their food has always been very good. This time as usual the fresh rolls were great. The curry fried rice and Mongolian beef were too salty. We had to cook rice to mix with both to cut the salt. The point of ordering out is not to have to cook. I'm not saying we'll never go back, just cautioning people who are sensitive to saltiness to maybe mention it when you order. Gave 3 stars becsuse the fresh rolls and service was good. Parking is a little limited during dinner hours but a place will generally open in good time. Their is a ramp for those not able to use stairs.
