Whenever I try different cuisines, I often notice there are two versions: an Americanized one and the authentic one. The Mexican food here definitely falls into the latter category. It's so tasty and feels almost like homemade food.

Food was super fresh, the cocktails were strong and delicious, and the service was quick but not pushy. Definitely coming back.

Sangria was 10/10. Tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had! The chips and guac were phenomenal! Can’t wait to go back!

I was looking for a restaurant to eat and the truth is that I left because the service was poor.

It’s a great place! The food is so yummy even though the flavor is still a little different from what I had in Oaxaca, Mexico.Recommend to try the pozole, it’s so good! And they are generous, they give a lot of pork and hominy in the soup. Their tacos are the best!! Definitely try the Taco Al Pastor! ? Delicious!Their lunch menu and dinner menu are different. I’d love to try their lunch menu someday~

HIGHLY DONOT RECOMMEND….Food was not good… service was very slow… there was 4 of us and they added their own tip…. They added a $30 tip no questions asked you have to pay.. it was a waste of money and time. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

If you have a party of more then 5 they will automatically charge 20%. The food is very very plain. Aside from that we paid 170$ with a 30$ tip they added themselves for 4 adults and 1 child. The whole table was served and one person had to wait since they had forgot one of the plates. Everyone finished and the plate barely came to the table. Even after we told them that we would tip in cash she told us to “pull of 30 as that’s all she’s taking” definitely would not go here again for bad service and food.

I just left Oaxaca City Mexico 2 weeks ago and I was so happy to taste mezcal again (with peanuts and chili sauce and oranges on the side). I tried a food I didn’t have there, and loved the flavors. True to form, amazing flavors. Habanero sauce ($2) so flavorful and full heat! This place is so authentic that they treat you like a guest, not rushing you in nor out. It’s culturally different from US table service. Embrace this authentic experience. Thank you to the owners and staff for giving this opportunity to Seattle!

“We walked in directly and there was a group of people waiting behind us. A young man came over and told us we would be next after he cleans up the next table, and asked us to wait at the door. So we went to the door and waited there behind the group of guests who were behind us. The young man went to clean the table, and a waitress came and asked the group of people to sit first and let us wait. We said that the young man just said that the seat was ours and that we were here first. The waitress was very rude and rolled her eyes and said, "I am the hostess", we be like, okay, let's wait. We stood at the water bar and waited for fifteen minutes. No one came to tell us that we could be seated. Instead, two or three tables in the back were already seated. Moreover, the place where we stood was very conspicuous. The waitress passed us four or five times. She gave menus to the customers who had just walked in without saying a word to us. I also felt racially discriminated because we are the only Asians in the whole restaurant, and the woman's attitude towards us was so different that she greeted white people with a smile. After embarrassingly working as a doorman in the restaurant for more than ten minutes, I left directly and cried as soon as I left. I had a bad day that day and didn’t feel like confronting the waitress. It took me 40 minutes to find a delicious restaurant that I had searched on Reddit for a long time, but the service was so bad. They also deleted my review elsewhere.” — 12/03/2023

Good selection of tequila and mezcal. Flan was great. Portion size for my entree was a bit smaller than expected but the food was delicious. Girlfriend's margarita was a bit too salty for her taste but they gladly took it off the bill. We plan on coming back to try more of the menu.

Food is pretty good, prices are ok, atmosphere is loud, chaotic and very casual, don't expect great service. They'll take your order, someone else brings the food, then there's zero check-in "how is it/do you need anything," they just ignore you til you look ready to go, then bring the check. If you need anything extra, you won't be getting it until the meal's over.Self-serve salsa bar is nice but chips cost $11 on the menu. Also seem to have several underage boys bussing tables.

The food was excellent. My husband declared that the mole was the best he’s ever had. The posole was also on point. I purposely didn’t eat it all so that I could enjoy it again the next day. The cocktails were also solid. Service was friendly and efficient.
