Called to get an order pick up, I was asked for a name and number and apparently the end of conversation got cut off on their end. 40 minutes later I come in to pick up and I’m told that they ended up not placing my order. What is the point of taking a phone number if you don’t use it to confirm the order of connection on your end sounded bad?I’m sad and hungry customer today who otherwise loves and appreciates delicious food at Local Tide and has been coming in regularly for few years now?

Hands down the best fish and chips I have had in Seattle! The clam chowder was also extremely flavorful. Would love to go back and try other things as

So good. We had the rockfish bowl, salmon teriyaki and fries. The atmosphere is nice and you can order from Aslan next door. Be prepared for a line as they seem to meter things to keep the kitchen and dining room at reasonable levels. Other food looked great. We will be back for the shrimp toast, oysters, crab roll, etc for sure.

Don't let the line deter you! It moves fast. Great food here. I love the salmon sandwich and the smash burger is a killer deal. The salt and pepper fries are a good addition to share between two people.

Went here for lunch today and it was pretty good. Had the fried oysters and salt/pepper fries. Came out quick and well seasoned. Service was great. You order at the front (menu is simple - which is great), and then take a seat. I would come here again. My friend had the rockfish banh mi and a salad. She said it was tasty.

If you haven't had the black cod kasuzuke, then run, don't walk, to Local Tide, coz you don't know what you're missing. Perfectly cooked fillet with each juicy flake having just the right texture, and bursting with flavor from the rich-yet-not-overpowering white miso marinade. The spinach salad that accompanied it was great too. I've had the banh mi for takeout and that was very good too, though maybe not as stellar as the kasuzuke.

Wow. Exceptional. Truly a remarkable place. We made a special trip from the other side of the city to check this place out as Eater had recommended it and we were not disappointed. The shrimp toast was our favorite, narrowly followed by the rockfish sandwich. Get there early if you don't want to wait in line though. But trust me, it's worth the wait.

Shrimp Toast and Dungeness Crab Rolls are must try items when dining at Local Tide. The Salt and Pepper Fries are also delicious, and if you have room, make sure to try the Bread Pudding. The service at Local Tide is exceptional as well!

4.5. The shrimp toast is so so good! We also got the rockfish and the salmon sando - the fish was fresh and of good quality, the sandwich was pretty decent but felt like it was missing a bit more of an oomph or acidity. I added the chili oil from the shrimp toast and that was perfect. There was a wait to sit down on the weekend.
