Absolutely the best chicken in the area. Deducting one star because ordering electronically is burdensome and frustrating.

Nice little restaurant with delicious ginger beer shop attached to it. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. The flavors were good, chicken was nice and moist with a good crunch. My only complaint was the shredded lettuce they placed in the sandwich. Because it’s shredded so small it kept falling out everywhere from the bun. Everywhere ? I think it would be better to not shred the lettuce so it actually stays on the bun with the chicken. I’m grateful for the food in front of me but that was the single most irritating chicken sandwich experience lol!

Delicious food located in a fun little Spot, Rachel's Ginger Beer, that makes drinks using their house-made ginger ale. So good!! The Hawaiian style fried chicken sandwiches here were absolutely amazing. The fries were cooked to perfection too. Service is quick and friendly. Literally no complaints. Can't wait to come back !

Good service, chicken was well fried; the spices are bit dry so it tends to coat the inside of your mouth, and makes it feel like you need to drink water constantly. Great with a ginger beer as a side. I personally would've preferred if the spice was a bit stronger.

The fried chicken on the menu were great in drumstick, ginger, and burger forms. The kulua chicken on the other hand was tasteless and had to be dressed with lots of sauce to have flavor.

One of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've had since moving to the PacNW 13 years ago. I got the second spiciest (hot) and didn't think it was too spicy- my lips weren't numb. I was really intrigued by the potato Mac salad. It's exactly what it sounds like, potato salad with macaroni in it, but it was delicious! I will be going here again.

No joke, the first time I had Ma'ono's chicken tenders, my immediate first thought was "Wow, I did not realize chicken tenders could taste this good". They are truly phenomenal. The chicken itself is super tender and moist, they have just the right amount of breading, and the spices they use are nice and flavorful without completely overpowering the taste of the chicken. The only other main item I've tried is the chicken sandwich, which is also quite good, though I personally prefer the tenders, maybe just because you don't have the bread getting in the way of the chickeny goodness.Side-wise, their fries are good, nicely seasoned, and I also recommend trying the potato mac salad if it sounds up your alley. I assume the others are good but I haven't tried them yet.Bottom line though, you gotta try this chicken. (and get some ginger beer too while you're there!)

It took over 20mins to get my fried chicken sandwich order, but I gotta say it's one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had! Very tender and crispy chicken with delicious sauce.

Great chicken with a view of the spheres, good choice of sauces and levels of spicy (including non spicy for kids).

Chix sandwich, mild, was super good. Perfectly cook, moist, thick cut. Potato Mac salad was a pleasant surprise. Great flavors, loved the fermented/or pickled veggies. Very solid.

It's really hit and miss. You can have days with the most amazing delicious chicken (and drinks!), and other days it tastes like two day old reheated KFC.While I don't think it's the restaurant as such, but rather the people on shift at any given time....having it so inconsistent is not a great experience.

I came because of the high ratings, but honestly not seeing what is equating to these 4-5 star ratings? Don't get me wrong, it's good but it doesn't taste like anything too special. The chicken lacks seasoning on it's own, and seems to rely on the sauce (you can choose from a 5 options) and the pickled radishes. Because the chicken is pretty thick, whether you order the strips or the sandwich, I would think that there would higher consideration of seasoning/marinating but I feel that it's lacking. The fries were also just ok. Seems to be the same or similar seasoning as the chicken so the meal felt pretty one-dimensional. Despite the food being average, I love that it's connected to Rachel's Ginger Beer. I think it's a great pairing to have with Ma'ono's chicken dishes. There is also ample seating, with indoor and outdoor patio selection.

How have I never tried Ma'ono's before? Their fried chicken sandwich is so good! The medium has a nice kick and the bun is toasted and buttered hawaiian bread that had the perfect sweetness to complement their savory chicken! Will be coming back soon to try more on the menu!

SO GOOD. By no means is this a fancy dinner but it's so well executed. Interior is nice and cozy with ample seating. Service is at the counter and food came out fast. Came here for the hot chicken and ended up getting the tenders - the chicken is not dry and not overcoated in batter (yet it's so crispy). The medium spice was perfect - not too hot but you can still feel a slight burn. I'm kinda glad my friend talked me down from ordering the hot level since you could taste more of how good the chicken is, but I'm still curious and would go back to try. It comes with 1 sauce and I got the honey mustard whereas my friend got hawaiian bbq. I liked the honey mustard and would stick with it. The ginger beer slaaaaps. Spicy pineapple was the way to go (although it might not be for everyone because there's definitely a kick. If you like turmeric ginger shots, you'd probably like this. You can also get half flavors to mix. 5/5 easy rating for this place!
