The place is very warm, there is a park in front of the cafe, which gives a nice view.I tried the whisper cake which I loved, it is not so sweet that you can actually taste the fruit.

reserved parking for employees, none for customers. kind of says it all about this place. don't forget to tip 25 pp on that seven dollar latte.

Food is amazing, everything I have tried has been so good. Only downside is there is usually nowhere to sit and they run out of all the savory options before noon which makes getting lunch here a pain.Dietary restrictions: They don't have many savory options without pork. If that is also an issue for you, the chive dill scones with cream cheese are just phenomenal.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp inside but it's usually full of people scouting for a table. It would be a huge hassle to get by everyone here.

We were looking forward to trying this location across from Reservoir Park. First, the good: The building and decor is attractive. The crust of the chicken pot pie was nicely done and the quiche was flavorful. The presentation of the food is non-existent for the items we had, but the bakery has kind of a cafeteria feel; so that's their business set up. Now, the not so great: This location was flat out dirty. In fact, upon entering and attempting to find a place to sit while my husband ordered, most tables and chairs were covered with crumbs. There were crumbs on the floor and the windowsills. It was so dirty, that though we had already ordered and paid, we considered leaving. It always makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen if the front of house isn't cared for. I understand it's a 'bus your own table' vibe, but there should be staff spraying and wiping surfaces after each patron and sweeping floors. I contacted Marina directly first with my complaints but heard nothing back, Yet another disappointment with this location. We won't likely return.

Yummy, and the maple leaf park is right across the street, so you can burn the calories walking as you enjoy them.

Best chicken pot pie ever! Flaky crust, tasty filling that didn't make the crust soggy.

Toilet didn't flush. No place to sit. Chairs that were empty many messy.

We love this neighborhood gem and the fact that it’s so family friendly, but the service is such a turnoff. When we visited today, a staff member was downright rude to another colleague in front of paying customers, which is unprofessional. Macrina management, please do a better job of staffing your otherwise lovely bakery with friendly people who actually enjoy being in the service industry. The service at cloud city coffee just up the street is much more friendly, enjoyable, warm and welcoming.

Super cute spot in maple leaf! I love working remotely from here! There's a ton of comfortable seating, the baristas are all super friendly, the WiFi is reliable, and they have gluten free options. My go to is a chai latte and Marion berry biscuit.

Wonderful service; delectable breads and bites. We had a chicken sausage quiche and breakfast blt and both were outstanding!

Service was great, staff were incredibly patient and accommodating. The pastries are probably the selling point (I only had the drip coffee and it wasn't the best), but be warned the average pastry is roughly $6 each so you'll rack up quite the bill if you aren't careful (learn from my delicious mistakes).

I am continually made to feel not welcomed as an individual who is on the Autism spectrum. The ordering process is not easy as I have to shout over the loud music blasting in my face. It doesn't help that the workers cannot hear me as well. This is frustrating as an individual that struggles with communication.I also do not appreciate as I struggle with the sensory filled environment that workers allow customers to by pass me. Forcing me to stay in an environment that I find incompatible with my disability which makes ordering hard. This is the last time I will be attending this location.

Good pastry’s and food overall! I will say, one time my biscuit for the biscuit breakfast sandwich tasted freezer burnt, but we’ve still come many times and always enjoy our food. I would recommend the Baily and Ham/Cheese Brioche! The holiday tart this season is great too.
