The cod sandwich had maybe 2oz ydishonor. I went to the open kitchen to watch the cook making sandwiches on the way out. He was Very careless in dropping a chunk or 2 of fish onto sandwiches. Expensive for no nothing We were really looking for a rerun of our past great meals. Not great anymore!

Matt's has taken a turn for the worse, sadly. We've eaten here for years...The food selections are not as varied as one would like. Heavy on seafood options, but no more burger (which was excellent) or other meats. The selections we had were not special. Almost broke my tooth on an olive seed left in a dish. No adjustment to our bill even after showing the server. Not a great value for the great (high) prices. Our server had a dirty apron (not a fresh mess), dirty clothing, and dirty finger nails - EWWW!

It was one of the best meals I have ever had. Had a seat where I could watch the meals being prepped, which was fun. The service was amazing. They were very attentive and knowledgeable. Food was off the charts good. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for gluten-free meals. The server was very knowledgeable.

My first time in Seattle and my first meal. My friend and I had a late dinner at Matt's in he Market, it was everything and more.Our dishes came in a timely manner, fresh and absolutely delicious. The ambiance is quite pleasant and so are the people. I had to compliment the chefs on their passion for their craft. It certainly shows in their preparation and presentation. It was overall a great experience.

We dined pre-show, with a view of the Public Market, and it was a short walk to the Moore Theatre. Beet and carrot salad was excellent, and the salmon entre was as good as it gets, in the opinion of a salmon savant.

Food was amazing, and our bartender was spectacular! But we were sat at the strangest table attached to the host desk. We had to ask to move to two bar seats to enjoy our evening. Strange for such a nice restaurant where we lunch often.

The food here is amazing and the service is very personal and friendly. The price tag is on the high side, but it's most definitely worth it for a special night out or dinner with friends. Also, surprisingly kid friendly - the waitress was so kind and patient with my childr If you're a foodie, Matt's is a must try!

The app and stew I ordered had clams that the majority of them had grit in them. My seafood stew has over 15 clams and I ate 2. I let my server know, and she threw the excuse that there were new staff in training and that's why the clams were not cleaned properly. The bartender cleared our table and noticed the uneaten clams and he asked why and was told. We also mentioned our server knew. And that was it. There would be higher stars except this one thing that was brushed off with excuses.

First time coming in to Matt's in the Market. We love The White Swan so why wouldn't we love this place. Great views of the iconic Pike Market. The ambiance was great and everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our server suggested two great wines with our dinners. The Seared Scallops and the Lamb Shank were amazing. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing meal haven't to Matt's since 2017(?) , even more amazing than I remember! Absolutely a great place for a foodie and anyone else that wants a superb meal with great flavors. It was Valentine's and my wife balked about driving to Seattle after the first taste of our scallop appetizers with the layers of flavors she was happy I dragged her out. Service was excellent as well, didn't want to forget that and ambiance how can you go wrong with the pink/red “Market” sign shinning thru the windows! Thanks Matt and team!

There were 3 people in our party, and all 3 of us found our meals to be bland and without flavor. The server did not come back to check on how our meals were, so my husband ate most of his- but myself and our other guest had at least 1/2 of our meals left. We were asked if we wanted boxes but not about how our meal was nor if we enjoyed it. Definitely not what we expected at a restaurant of this caliber. I had eaten at Matt's in the past and was looking forward to going back, but this was not an enjoyable experience.
