Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants, I have been here a few times however this time was not the most pleasant!! After visiting the restaurant this evening myself, my husband and my sister are all sick with tummy pains. Seems like the seafood platter we ordered was the cause since this was the only dish we shared.Aside from this, we had ordered the foie gras which was good but not the same as we had in the past. Quality was most definitely missing here! The dish was not only cold but seems like the apricot chutney was under cooked resulting in hard apricots. The escargot was really tasty as well as the black cod main dish, dessert was a total disappointment! After mentioning to the host to please have a candle sent out with our dessert since it was a surprise…. Nothing was done we had to ask again which defeated the purpose of trying to have a special surprise. Furthermore the crème brûlée was not smooth at all and tasted very gritty as well as the burnt cheesecake was very bad no flavor, even Safeway cheese cake is better! We did mention this to our waiter who just brushed it off and said absolutely nothing about it and just cleared the plate. $260 later I don’t know if it’s worth getting sick!!

Last Thursday evening, I observed a cook from this restaurant wrapping up a smoke break beside the Rachel the Pig statue. He decided to toss his cigarette butt into the storm drain once he was done. This careless/ignorant action raised my concerns about the establishment’s wider hygiene practices.

I can't understand any of the positive reviews for this place. There is nothing redeemable about the food or service. Go to Matt's. There is a view but most of the tables do not have access to it - I find the photos a little misleading and the 5 star reviews are from at least two severs.

Mediocre food and awful, awful service. the ambiance is very 1800 fishing boat. there are plenty of fantastic restaurants in the Pike Place market that are not tourist traps.

Food is good and waiter is excellent but the manager and apparently chef spent 15 minutes with a table while they were short handed. Clueless and unbelievable-we all see it. The waiter ran the show. He was excellent!

Great, cozy, affordable restaurant. Tried escargot for the first time and all the food was well prepared and delicious. One thing that stood out was the “make your own” americano after dinner. One of the best cups of coffee I ever had.

The food here was amazing! We got the tomahawk pork chop and the scallops. Along with some appetizers. I would definitely come back. The views of the city/wheel were amazing as well. Overall- great experience and food.

Came for a date with my husband and enjoyed a cozy rainy night in an intimate setting. We had a wonderful time! Location: We made reservations for a Sunday night at 6pm online. Located in Pike Place we were seated indoors upstairs side by side where we had a nice view of the ferris wheel at night. Service: We had a very kind gentleman who provided excellent service and was so friendly. Food: - French onion soup - very delicious and great portions. My husband and I shared everything - fois gras - this was our favorite item of the night! So good! - half baguette with butter - very tasty bread - pork tomahawk - we ordered this because it seemed to be highly recommended. It was tasty but overhyped... we've had better at other restaurants. We felt it lacked some elevated flavor but it was nicely cooked and juicy. Potatoes and veggies were a nice addition. - filet mignon steak with blue cheese- the steak was also perfectly cooked. Very tasty and really enjoyed the salad - the fries were ok. - creme brulee - standard dessert but nicely done. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal here!

Cute little Restaurant at the end of Pike Place Market. Perfect place for a date to enjoy the sunset. Food and service are good too. Will probably visit in the summer again.Parking: Use the Pike Place Parking Garage then walk to the restaurant. Less of a hassle.

I was nervous because of the lower star rating they have... I should have paid closer attention to the reviews. First, the food was fantastic- I gave an additional star for that. Pork chops, escargot, French onion soup and a rabbit special. But the service? Awful. Slow. Uncommunicative. Attitude. The server was in the middle of training someone (I think?) that was never addressed (it should be). Maybe she was training her replacement? That would be satisfactory - the trainee had a much better demeanor. Apart from the negative facial expressions, lack of communication i.e. disappearing while our food wait times ticked longer and longer - never asking how the food was - never offering to box the food - never checking in while we were being blasted by sunlight as the clock ticked longer and the afternoon sun shifted. - their tip was adjusted to a more than fair amount to account for the lacking service quality. Still never asked if we needed a box. I had to walk to them and ask. Then it was brushed off and insisted that they box it for me. I did not trust her to handle my food behind closed doors. And then to top it off, I specifically asked the trainee? to bring me a box because I did not want them to do it for me. That should be respected. I was respectful with how I asked. The actual server came over and grabbed the plates, asked which needed a box. Only mine. She grabbed my plate and balanced the BOTTOM of my friends plate on my FOOD while she positioned the plates "properly" - it was still not proper and was offensive. I left without my food. Coming from a food service background in fine dining this is unacceptable. Every guest should be treated the same as the next, so on and so forth. I could add more but the plate balancing and touching my food with the plate bottom was my final straw Gorgeous view though and pork chop was fantastic, even with what little I ate! Would be nice to have for later :)
