The Food was awsome. We love the Cheese curds and the Pulled Pork Sandwich with French Fries.

Definitely something to improve for their service, we dont feel welcome and the lady who seems like the owner wasn’t being polite and they are not considerate while assigning seats… we have kids around. Maybe they are lack of staff hence we have to wait for some time to place orders etc. Food and atmosphere are about average and not much on selection. We probably wont come back.

I had the fish sticks on a bun. I threw up for the rest of the evening. The interior is not very clean.

The "about" page here on Google Maps mentions shepherd's pie right at the start. That's why I went there. They do not have shepherd's pie.Parking: There isn't really a lot, but there is parking to be found on nearby side streets.

I don't know why people leave so weak reviews. Food was amazing. Huge portions of clams and so much more. I don't remember what else we ate. Drank sone margarita's and icecream float. But I just spent 30 min searching for the place because if food. Great prices too

I haven't been to a real Irish bar since I lived in New England. This was wonderful and definitely hit the spot. Parking isn't the easiest but it's not impossible. If you don't mind wandering a bit, it's wonderful. We went here after wedding dress shopping, and the staff was friendly and prompt, and also offered (solicited) opinions on some of the dresses. The appetizers were delicious and served quickly, and were piping hot. There is no shortage of choices on the menu and it's worth spending happy hour there. It is an adorable place and feels divey, yet clean, and I very much enjoyed our time here. You can't go wrong!

If you're looking for an Irish bar in Madison Park well, this one is (literally and figuratively) at the end of the line. I've popped in a few times over the years, most recently after wedding dress shopping with a couple of friends, and it has never disappointed. Good beer, fast service, affordable appies...I mean, I'm not sure what else I could want! They even have a nice happy hour, which makes the inevitable hunt for good parking worth the hassle. Is the place a tiny bit run down? Maybe a little, especially for this upscale part of town. But it's not exactly in dive bar territory yet. If it was remotely on the beaten path to anywhere, I'd definitely pop in here more frequently! As it is, though, this is my go-to watering hole when I find myself at the end o' the line in M-Park.

A mainstay for Madison Park residents, super casual, has outdoor seating with lake view, neighbourhood bar vibe, not quite a “pub” or “sports bar” but with the fireplace could easily have an incredible pub atmosphere.

Mediocre reuben sandwich. Pizza was ok but not worth the price. The wait was far too long for such shoddy food. On top of it, the waitress was inattentive and had to be intercepted more than once for water and drink refills. I normally don't post bad reviews but this place was highly

One of the lunch servers (Friday morning, June 2) was extremely rude and unwelcoming. It was especially disheartening as it was a very special lunch with a great friend I was visiting on vacation and I picked out the restaurant after much deciding and planning (plus I grew up on Capitol Hill and used to go there often). The waitress rudely sat us, and it was quite clear she had no interest in doing her job with any enthusiasm or professionalism. We decided to just get up and leave before ordering, and she very condescendingly yelled "have a nice day" on our way out. It was the best thing though, because we went to Madison Park Bakery up the street and got the most delicious sandwiches and cookies, and chips and soda from Red Apple and had a wonderful picnic on a bench at beach down the street. I will never even try to go back to McGilvra's again, but I will definitely go back to the bakery.
