I really enjoy Korean food and I very much enjoy mom and pop shops. However I was a bit disappointed when I came.Inside was very cold and quiet with Christmas decorations still up in March. The menu was a bit confusing to hard to read in chalk but that's okay.I love bimbap and got the beef bimbap. I liked the beef flavor itself but the rest of it was cold. Usually the rice will be hot with hot beef and cold toppings.Although I am used to getting sides they said that it did not come with the bimbap. I was confused as other people's reviews and photos showed otherwise. They said it would be extra. But when I said that I was okay paying more they then told me they didn't have any sides. That was really disappointing as they just opened, and It seemed like they backpedaled.Overall I found the price point to be high for the quality and limited availability. I am okay with a higher price point for mom and pops if the service and quality are met. I felt disappointed in my food and ended up leaving before finishing.I would recommend Mamas Kitchen (which is pretty good food wise, but service lacking) in Factoria, or maybe just going to Stone instead. I will continue my hunt for a bomb Korean mom and pop place instead.Happy Eating!

Cute little shop with food made with care! I'm so thankful this place exists and fills the void of Korean food in the White Center area!!! Looking forward to more soup options eventually, I hope!!Parking: Only a few spots, working nearby may be required depending on time of day.

This is my happy place. Soft tofu soup with seafood and a seafood pancake are my favorites. The wings are really good too, I've heard.

What a treat finding this little restaurant today. My Japchae noodles were delicious. And they gave me a very tasty sample of Korean pancake.

Diamond in the rough. This is at the old Zippy's burger across from the fire station. Owner and outstanding Chef. They are so friendly and outgoing. The kimchi is amazing. For a smaller, boutique shop, they have a very broad selection of authentic Korean dishes. I had the Bi Bim Bap because I didn't have time to stay and try all of the panchan. It's just as good as leftovers too! I will definitely going back for the Soon Do Bu and Japchae. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. It's nice to have some amazing Korean food in West Seattle close to where I live.

I was served a stale and dry chicken katsu that was definitely not freshly cooked. Wound up getting sick and running to the bathroom all night (the only food I had that day was from this restaurant). For the very steep prices, the quality of food was severely lacking. Not to mention potentially getting sick from it. It's a fried chicken cutlet... just cook it fresh maybe?

Visited with my partner and son on a rainy Seattle day and enjoyed the veggie Korean pancake and bibimbop tofu bowl. It was the perfect cure to a cold rainy afternoon, with a side of tea on the house as well. The chef was kind to make a side of tofu with toasted sesame and a plate of oranges for my son who is 18 months, he enjoyed it so much. True hospitality at this restaurant, highly recommend!

Went for dinner tonight without knowing too much about what each item actually was. Ended up ordering the dupbop with pork. It was fantastic! Each bite was deliciously saucy and I couldn't have been more pleased. I can't wait to go back and try other things.

Grilled vegetables were excellent; bibimbop was good. Very basic place, mostly for takeout, we ate in. Clean bathroom.Vegetarian options: The grilled vegetables were excellent. (I don't believe there was any meat in the sauce.)Parking: Small lot right in front.

I had a spectacular late lunch with my mom and dad. The food was all perfect. The server was hilarious -when my mom asked how to eat the japchae without it falling into her lap, the server picked up her chopsticks and hand fed my mom. We loved it and have been back since.Vegetarian options: There are only a few vegetarian meals. The vegetarian pancake was outstanding. The veg japchae was fantastic. We had a vegetarian bibimbop bowl which we loved.Parking: There are 3-4 spots in the lot. If the restaurant gets popular though it will be hard to park.Kid-friendliness: I think kids who like Korean food would be fine there.Wheelchair accessibility: Probably not the easiest to get into, but there is a steep small ramp.

Came in on a Saturday and was greeted right away by the friendly owners. We went with the Tofu Soup, Japche & Kalbi. We wanted to try their Korean Fried Chicken, but they were out. We chose our seats & shortly after, we were served cups and a jug of water. We were quite happy about the jug since we drink a ton of water! Then came the Japche (noodles). It was still steaming from the wok. The tofu soup was bubbling all the way to our table. The first sip I took, I was in love. The kalbi was next! The flavor and the tenderness made me say, I'm definitely coming back for more. The banchan (side dishes) were simple but all delicious. The service was great! Overall food and experience, 5 stars! Can't wait to come back to try their other dishes on the menu!

I had a bowl of the soft tofu soup and an order of bibbimbap. The food was delicious, staff was super friendly, and I will definitely be back to try more of their menu (there's a Korean pancake in my very near future...). Welcome to the neighborhood!
