Got a custom cake for a work party and it was a hit! Fluffy, light, delicious. Everyone raved about it. Great price, too.

If you are looking for a cake for someone special or just yourself, I recommend you try Morfeys. I have purchased from a handful of other shops in Seattle over the last 5 years and so far, Morfeys Cakes is my favorite. I wanted to surprise my fiancé for his birthday with a white confetti cake that reminded him of his childhood and this cake was so cute. The buttercream was smooth and delicious, without any strong sugary aftertaste. The raspberry buttercream filling was my favorite it was sweet and just a little tart. After we opened the cake, I placed it in a cake container and two days later the cake was still moist and the buttercream tasted fresh. Erin, was just as sweet as the cakes she bakes and was super accommodating. I highly recommend!

DONT ORDER FROM HERE FOR SPECIAL OCCASION - We got the cake for our baby shower. It was one of the most ugliest cake ever. On the phone when we ordered they told us to "trust them" and that is what we got. Clearly shows a lack of skill and professionalism as the pictures on the website are miles apart from what we got. If anyone is considering ordering cake from here, save your money and instead get one from wholefoods. Much more reasonably priced and getter looking. You end up paying for a bakery price for a quality worse than a supermarket.

I had our wedding cake made for us at Morfey's Cake, and we were extremely pleased by the experience and result! They're a busy business, so we did give Morfey's ample time when booking our tasting and reserving the cake, and it all went smoothly! We called ahead and made the cake tasting appointment in advance, and had a fun time tasking cake samples (with coffee!) with Erin, and going over designs. We'd looked at Morfey's website and Instagram beforehand so had a good sense of what we wanted. We decided to buy our own cake toppers, but had Morfey's make the sugar flowers for us.Because we were getting married in Seattle and our cake was relatively small, we elected to pick up the cake ourselves and deliver it to save on the delivery fee. Made the reservation, the cake was ready on time, and it was well packaged for travel (it was defintely a 2 person job, even with our smaller cake, so bring someone if you decide to deliver it yourself). And wow, we were overjoyed by how beautiful the cake looked! It impressed our guests and was a beautiful decoration on the day of the wedding. And it tasted so good! It was delicious, flavorful, moist - some of the best cake I've had! We loved it!We're definitely going to use Morfey's for special occasion cakes in the future! Thanks Erin for making our wedding day that much more special!

The cakes and experience are always excellent! We've gotten many cakes and even our wedding cake made at Morfey's. The cakes are fantastic, and Erin is a delightful person to work with.

We ordered a cake for a function, and while the sponge was pretty good the icing was clearly Crisco, granulated sugar and food coloring, which made the cake almost unbearable. They we very kind to us, but you can tell there is a disconnect between whos taking orders and who is making cakes. We heard so many good things about Morfey's too.

My wife tried to ask about cake by phone and in person , and I realize we have a short turn around time, but we were exploring options, and being told a simple no in response would have been useful. Whoever was in the shop today was rude in response to my wife asking questions, it was not professional behavior. Based on this interaction I don't think we could recommend anyone try to deal with a business with employees that give so much attitude.

So, they don't answer emails, but also don't answer the phone or return your call. Cool!Edit: so what's your excuse for the several other years of bad service many have experienced with you? Or the lack of communication as to your current situation? Or just like, not hiring another person?

Got a cake for an engagement party after my friend recommended this cake shop. It was perfect! Looked beautiful and well done. Tasted absolutely delicious. We ordered one that could feed 30 and it was all gone by the end of the night. So good! Thanks Morfey's!

Stopped in to check out what Morfey’s had to offer and tried this absolutely delightful melt in your mouth almond citrus cupcake. Took a look at the cakes and they were works of art. You definitely need to call ahead or go online for like wedding cakes, birthday cakes or other celebrations. If you are passing by like we were stop in for a cupcake you wont be disappointed.

The cake for our friend’s wedding was a total letdown. Despite of providing detailed descriptions and regular communication with Erin, the final design of the cake did not meet the expectations. The cake was too sweet and no one enjoyed it. It was so disappointing because we were really looking forward to it.I tried reaching out through emails and calls during the process of design and flavor detailing but there was no response at all. Such a poor experience overall. Total bummerThe early hours and pick up time were informed by baker. The cake details like the cake sweetness was provided from the beginning fruit flavored and less sweet. This is disappointing.
