We went to Cashew based on Yelp reviews while staying in Seattle and I have to say this was by far one the best Thai cuisine I ever had! The small restaurant tucked in a neighborhood shines with great service, stunning plate presentation and delicious food. I loved that most dishes were available either vegan or gluten free as well. Try it out - you won't be disappointed!! It's truly amazing.

Made a reservation for a large party for dinner on a Friday night at 5:45p. When I arrived, the restaurant was not very busy and they appeared to have many tables open. Two gentlemen ahead of me wanted a table for a party of 8, and the restaurant wasn't taking anyone else. Good to remember that you may need reservations for a Friday night. We ordered the Thai fried rice, pad see ew, larb gai, garlic chicken and shrimp curry. Everything was really good except our garlic chicken dish, which was overly salty. We ordered another pad see ew to replace this dish, but at this point the restaurant was packed. It took a very long time for this single dish to come out. Also, the server appeared to have the entire restaurant, so it was difficult to flag her down to order this new dish and to pay. I would definitely come back, but hope next time they have more wait staff support.

Great food and great customer service. We tried their chicken katsu rice, fried rice, and pad thai. The fried rice and katsu rice were very good. Katsu comes with a unique sauce that's very tasty, too. Food is not spicy, not too oily. Good portion size and fair price, and friendly customer service. Highly recommend.

The hard working team at this restaurant I can't commend enough. The food was fantastic. Just one thing is that you definitely need 1 more wait staff and I hope you find them for your rush hour period.

The best Thai food my wife and have ever had. This small, local Thai restaurant has a decent number of items on the menu, and everything we ordered was five-star cuisine.

The Chef is amazing and even comes to check in with the guests. This place gets quite busy and I can definitely understand why. Our Massaman Short Ribs and Crying Tiger were absolutely delicious.

This place had excellent food! Also, if you're going to a movie at SIFF, it's just 2 doors down. (It's also pretty convenient for Climate Pledge too, if you're doing a concert there.) I saw 2 movies last week, and after going to Cashew Thai before one of them, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to go again! The common dish in both visits was the green curry, the first time with chicken, the second with tofu. Both times it was excellent. The dish has eggplant in it, which I generally try to avoid, but it was so sweet and tender. Really complemented the meat and tofu, and the curry too. On the first visit, we ordered the Salmon Sake Onions: Salmon seared in sake and topped with thinly sliced onions. Delectable! We also ordered Pad See Ew on the 2nd visit. I'm not as big of a fan of this dish, but my date really liked it. For appetizers on the 2nd visit, we ordered the Flower Cups, crispy pastry cups filled with vegetables. Interesting idea, and enjoyable, but I think I would've been happy with Spring Rolls. The Roti Masala appetizer, which we ordered on the first visit, is novel and quite tasty. The restaurant quite happy accommodating dietary restrictions, and the 2nd visit was vegan. Don't be afraid to ask. The place was nearly empty on the first visit (Tuesday night), and then half full on Friday night. Both times the service was excellent. I'm going again. Given how much I like seeing shows at SIFF, I can imagine I'll be going to Cashew Thai as frequently as well!

5 stars of food OMG!! Best authentic Thai food ever!! My pork with thai basil was on spot. I love the way they serve with the crispy basil on top, it makes it beautiful presentation plus sunny side egg was so creamy and crunchy at the same time. 5 stars of service: Very friendly and feels like home service. I was sitting alone then the owner came by to say hi and we've enjoyed talking about my visit Thailand long time ago. Then she came back with complimentary food out of menu. I'm sure come back with my friends and family!!

The waitress didn’t pay attention to our concern with the food, one of the ordered dishes tasted weird and food aroma was very bad. Didn’t even bother to replace or fix it.

I have ordered Pad Thai, it was having a weird intense flavour and was sour. All of us felt it smells/tastes different from what we had before. We could not eat the dish and asked if we can replace it, the server said it was our problem and there is nothing she can do. On top of this, we were added a mandatory 20% gratuity for a bad service. We have been there multiple times before and feel the food now is not that great now. Since there is mandatory gratuity, the service was bad
