Great BBQ in a fun place with excellent service. Try to ribs on Thursday and Friday and I promise you'll be back. Don't bother with the BBQ across the street, Raneys has everything they lack and more

Came in based on other reviews. Service was immediate and friendly. But the food left a lot to be desired. Came for brisket and received 3 tiny pieces about the size of a thumb tip each. Each piece fell apart easily but was clearly overcooked, and didnt have much flavor save for the bbq sauces.

Such good food, they used to have a food truck pre-pandemic and it was the reason why Wednesday was my favorite day. Treat yourself and try this place, one of Seattle's best kept

Good food, chill vibes, not cheap, but worth it. Got a beer and some Brisket with the beans and mac salad. All very tasty, especially with the spicy BBQ sauce.

One of the best burgers I’ve had in my life. I will definitely be back when in Seattle. The only thing I didn’t like is they aren’t open on the weekend.

Food is made from scratch and delicious! Bar tender was super nice and I love the vibe, so comfortable and welcoming.
Wings were good, other reviews definitely play it up. Staff is friendly, food comes out really quickly. I'd describe it as "your father's sports bar"

Tri-tip sandwich was great and the beans were some of the best I've had at a restaurant but I wish there were more of them.

This small out-of-the-way Georgetown bar has literally the best barbecue in Seattle. We've actually got a pretty up-and-coming barbecue scene, and Raney's is leading the way. Their brisket sandwich is bar-none the best I've had, and their Thursday/Friday ribs special is excellent as well.If you find yourself here, or happen to live along the 24/33/124 bus route, definitely give them a try.

Ok - I was stopping at another place across the street but their parking lot was full. Saw Raney's, looked at Yelp, and came here. Glad I did for something new. Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa - I mean, yes this is a bar - but some of the best chow I've had was bar grub. Based on some other reviews I decided to try 3 items - 1/4 rack of ribs, a 1 pound of wings with Cajun sauce, and a cup of their brisket with chili, sour cream & onion. The wings were spot on - brined, smoked and lightly fried they had a nice crispy touch with a hint of smoke and paired with the Cajun sauce made them my favorite. The ribs, with a medium BBQ sauce tied with the chili as I liked them both. An "outsider" but the service was great
