We were celebrating our mom’s milestone birthday and based on some friends recommendation we chose Rasai. We had not eaten there before and were not sure what to expect . We were a large party . Our communication with Raj from the get go was great . He was very cooperative and made it easy to plan the evening .The celebrations went very well . The ambiance of the place is very nice , warm and intimate . The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it .The staff were attentive and made the entire experience great!! Thank you Raj and the rest of the staff for a wonderful evening!

Had made a reservation for dinner. Went in by 6:30 and the restaurant was empty. The waiter was very rude and unprofessional. Not sure why he threw in an attitude. He gave us a tiny table in the middle although the entire place had no one. Latter when requested for a change , he mentioned all the other tables are booked. We were there for an hour and noticed that hardly 3 other people had walked in that time and the other tables were still empty. Food portions are very less and taste was moderate. A very small place inside and not welcoming. Will not recommend.Vegetarian options: Very few

One of the best artistic representations of Indian food that you'll get in Seattle. Their lamb shank is to die for as well as the Mushroom Korma. Upscale but definitely worth the experience. We went on a weekday which turned out to be very quiet day but definitely hoping to go back on a sunny weekend to check out the atmosphere.

We started with two appetizers, the "Ghar Ki Murgi" (5/5 stars amazing for $18, a Chicken Kebab - Cashew Cream Cheese, Thai Chili, Pickled Red Onions) which was blow-your-mind delicious. Our second appetizer was the "Burani Paneer" (4/5 stars, $16, Brown Garlic & Degi Chili Marination, Cilantro Mint Chutney, Watermelon Radish). I was honestly not impressed by the pier at all, I would give it 3/5 stars, but the flavors and dressing were beautiful and delicious so I would give the rest of the plate a 5/5 star rating. We did two mains. First, the Nalli Rogan Josh" (4/5 stars, $29, Braised Lamb Shank, Tomato & Kashmiri Chili Curry, Potato Salli). We thought the lamb was impressive (5/5 stars), juicy, tender, and flavorful. We liked the curry that it was in, but we felt like it lacked a certain dimension or some kind of depth. Second, we ordered the "Heirloom Korma" (5/5 stars blow your mind, $23, Micro Rainbow Vegetables, Enoki Mushroom Pakora, Saffron, Almond). I cannot recommend this dish enough! The flavors of the curry were rich and nutty, the veggies were tender, but not too tender, and it paired well with our bread sampler (4/5 stars, $12). My husband loved the "everything seasoning kulcha" (3/5 stars imo but 4/5 stars according to him) but I preferred the "spinach and cheese naan" (4.5/5 stars) and I liked the "Herb Lacha Paratha" (4.5/5 stars) too. Overall, we spent $105 before the mandatory 20% "included gratuity", of which 3/4 goes to the weight staff and the other 1/4 goes to the restaurant. Two mains, two sides, and the bread sampler was too much food for the two of us. I think two mains and the bread sampler would not have been enough, so when we go back (and we will, we were really impressed with this restaurant!) we plan on doing two, the bread sampler, and one side. Overall, this restaurant has a low rating because of the 20% mandatory gratuity and slow service, but we were impressed with the restaurant and even though the prices are high, I honestly feel like the quality was much better than the other good Indian restaurants I have been to in Seattle (like Nirmal's and Meesha - both are phenomenal, but neither were quite as mind blowing-ly impressive).

They have changed their menu since we last visited in 2021. Food was amazing, everything tasted really good (minor: kofta ball was undercooked). Service was really slow, it took really long time for times to arrive on table. A bit pricy for the portion size provided

Everything about this place is 5 stars. Service was attentive, food was perfectly prepared and full of wonderful flavor. The drink menu is also impressive in the adventure of flavors. The tiramisu is worth a return trip!

Had a lovely dinner last night. It wasn’t super busy and the service was very attentive. We thought th4e snapper was the star for the mains though the steak and paneer dish we had was also very good.

Had a reservation and it was for our anniversary. They reserved a special spot for us. Really friendly people who ensured we were doing fine. They checked back every time to make sure everything is as expected. It’s a cozy little place. The dishes were perfect. They looked very neatly plated. Tandoori prawns very rightly cooked with the smoky flavor. Bread sampler was too good and fresh. Rabdi tiramisu was not up to the mark but the anniversary dessert was delicious. Paneer kofta and mutton biriyani was good. Portions are quite bite sized.

Rasai offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a cozy dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with standout dishes like the samosa art, chicken kabobs, and lamb shank. Making a reservation ahead of time ensured a smooth dining process, and the service was attentive and friendly. Overall, Rasai is a charming spot to enjoy scrumptious Indian cuisine with excellent service.
