It's a cute place, very modern and offers a lot of drinks and food so the menu is good. You have to look up songs on an iPad which technologically is cool. BUT when you have a big book, you see songs you may have forgotten about. I like the book better. The sound system is so so and the controls for effects and key changes, etc. are not so great. The part I disliked the most is our waitress kept interrupting. First she interrupted to bring us the bill in the middle of us singing. Then she came in again to remind us our time was ending soon and offered us to stay longer for extra money. You can see the timer on the television so we knew when our time was up. Then she interrupted again to ask if we were ready to pay the bill. This is while we're in the middle of a song and we still had 5 minutes left. By that time I was so irritated I just wanted to leave. The karaoke places in California basically leave us alone until our timer goes off and then we pay at the front counter. That is how it should be! P.S. They automatically include a tip in your bill.

Our much-anticipated karaoke night in Seattle took an unexpected turn, leaving our group of friends feeling frustrated and trapped. We were drawn in by the promise of a fun evening at a local karaoke spot, lured by a sign boasting a reasonable $15 fee, with a tempting discount after 5 PM. Excitedly, we dove into the karaoke experience, belting out our favorite tunes and enjoying each other's company. However, as the clock approached 11 PM, reality hit us hard. We discovered that the parking garage where we had left our cars had closed, leaving us stranded in the heart of Seattle with no means of transportation. What made matters worse was the lack of upfront disclosure about the parking situation. The sign outside the karaoke place failed to mention that the parking garage closed at 11 PM, trapping unsuspecting patrons like us. It felt like false advertising, and the disappointment among our group was palpable. Being stranded in a city, especially late at night, is a distressing experience. Our excitement from the karaoke night quickly turned into frustration and anger as we scrambled to find alternative transportation options. The entire ordeal left a bitter taste in our mouths and overshadowed what was supposed to be a memorable evening with friends. In hindsight, we wish the establishment had been more transparent about the parking situation. It's crucial for businesses to provide accurate information to their customers, especially when it comes to something as essential as parking availability. Hopefully, our unfortunate experience serves as a reminder for others to double-check such details before venturing out for a night of fun.

This place is perfectly located. The ambiance was great and you could truly enjoy the atmosphere. The only problem we had was that It sometimes gets a bit crowded when it comes to karaoke clubs because for 4 people or less the spaces are way too small. We each ordered an app plus water plus a drink each and the tiny tables are not big enough, on top of anybody trying to sing over someone else, they are right in your ear and you are not even able to stand or you will knock over all of you drinks and food. we had to keep rearranging the tiny cube tables for each person to stand up and sing. Also, always ask for a room away from the main lobby, because ours was right next to the check in desk and they let customers sing in the lobby and it was all we could hear at one point. No matter how loud we wanted our own mics or turn the music up, which I am sure they have set to a certain level. The lady was just singing in the lobby. kind of annoying if you are here to hear yourself and your friends, not a random stranger belting as loud as possible in the lobby. We will try to get more people for a bigger room and not keep stepping over each other but not all our friends are karaoke singers, so 4 max was enough. Hopefully after this review they will give us a larger room at least big enough for 6 people and we won't have to keep moving drinks and water and hold appetizers inn hands because there is no room. The server was nice and I did mention how there was no room in that space for the drinks and food and water plus we were ordering shots, he kept quiet. Didd not offer to move us. and I know they had the room available because it was pretty empty in every room we passed by on the way to the restroom. I will also add it was the middle of the week, im sure they were not to capacity and could have moved us. . well, we had a good time other than that, we were going out of town the next day but hopefully next time we make it work.

While my singing might not be A+, my experience at Rockbox was! A cute karaoke bar with private rooms and a really good happy hour deal! We came here with some friends during their happy hour and it was only $5 per person per hour! The room had disco lights and couches making it super comfy! They had a good song selection and also the ability to connect to youtube. We also ordered some snacks and drinks. The server brought it directly to our room and we were able to call them whenever we needed something! The drinks came super fast and we very affordable and yummy. I highly recommend the guacamame which was a guac made with edamames.

Rock my box off because this place is amazing if you want to scratch that singing itch. I love singing, so I've been to a lot of different Karoake places. I also sometimes go alone to destress so you know I'm an expert. Here's what I really enjoyed about Rockbox more than other private Karoake places: 1. If you can't find the song you want, you can look up YouTube videos, so basically the world is your oyster 2. They basically have a server that comes to you if you want to order drinks or snacks 3. The snacks were really yummy!! You can get chilled cream puffs or their twist on popcorn and chips 4. DISCO LIGHTS IN THE ROOM! On top of all that, happy hour is at a decent time AND a good price of $5/hr/person 5 cause rocking out with songs and snacks... IN A BOX!

I've been to Rock Box twice now with 6+ people. It's a great spot for friends to go karaoke. We always have a blast, and we will continue to go back! I haven't really had the food there since we often go after dinner, but from what I've heard, it's pretty good.

Delicious drinks and fantastic karaoke! I finally got the chance to come here after hearing so many people rave about this place. The rooms aren't too big but they can fit a good amount of people, and they're system for video playing, lights, sound, applause, etc is wonderful. Their drinks are also so yummy - I got the sake sangria which was so delicious. It had just the right amount of sake flavor and the sweet wine was fantastic. I definitely need to come back for more drinks and karaoke!

My friend invited me to her birthday party, and I was thrilled to accept the invitation! The celebration took place at a Japanese-style karaoke club with a fantastic combination of food, drinks, and singing. What made it even better was that it was an all-Sunday happy hour. To ensure we got a spot, we made a reservation in advance, as this place tends to get quite busy on weekends. Fortunately, we found plenty of free parking nearby in downtown Seattle, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The disadvantage is there are not a lot of food to choose however at least there are snacks to eat haha! Another one, I'm confused for the hallway after the women's bathroom, I'm lost a bit hehe. Still, we had an amazing time and truly relished her short celebration! Well, you should try if you love Karaoke!

We made reservation on NYE and it was a lot of fun! Large variety of songs -- we were able to find songs in Japanese and mandarin. However, the subtitles aren't in English so you need to know how to read the language. Server brought our drinks fast! I got the lychee martini and it's strong (for those needing some liquid courage). There's a parking lot one block south to the location for $4/hr.

Fun Karaoke spot! We went during happy hour and got a room, had a blast. Super reasonable prices during happy hour. I had the mojito it was tasty! I wish they had more drink options and snack options. They forgot one of the snacks I ordered, but it was no big deal. I will definitely go again.

We had a blast!!! Go with your favorite people and strengthen friendships, or with some new friends and form some. The bartender was great, service staff was great. Some songs could be added (cuz I couldnt find only 1 in my searching), but a great selection to choose from. Great sound system, no mic feedback, and just a great atmosphere. We live in Bremerton, and it was absolutely worth the 1.5 hour drive to go.
