Service was quick and friendly. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The Biscuits were very good, some of the best that I've had outside the southern US. The gravy was eggs were about average for what I expected. It was $20 for this meal, much higher than I'm used to back on the east coast but I feel like it's about average for the Seattle area. I'll definitely stop by next time I'm in Ballard!

This place use to be great, but, now, it's barely mediocre. We went there for brunch. The Belgium waffle I ordered was nothing like any Belgium waffle I have ever had or as it was described in the menu. It was totally flat - flatter and more limp than any waffle should be. The "golden butter" described in the menu was nonexistent and the syrup was tasteless. It was the same for the pancakes. Coffee, barely ok.

Everything I ordered was way too salty. They were out of lox and vanilla ice cream. The only pie they had was apple.

The food? Delicious... The service? Comforting and prompt... The atmosphere? Oh boy the hot goss that we got to listen to made our whole day. First off, if your name is Jared, your girlfriend's besties hate you, and want her to break up with you. After 11 years, your potential has become an empty promise, and girls are ready to revolt. Shape up Jared, this whole diner was team dump Jared.

This place has had its ups and downs in recent years due to several changes in ownership. The new manager, Johnny, has been in charge just a month or so, and we were really happy to see things bounce back to the great breakfast place we used to know! The quality of the food is back. The service is back, and, hey, let's face it: Seattle needs great, local diners like this. These are cultural treasures and we need to back them up. It's easy when doing that tastes so good and it's fun.

Got sick! Service took a while to seat us. Once we were seated it wasn’t too bad, food was alright, but it was after the diner where the worst happened. Both me and my partner felt sick and had similar symptoms of an upset stomach, headache, and body chills. We 100% got served something bad here, since it was the only thing we both ate that day. Don’t come here if you want to feel well afterwards.

A nice cozy place for brunch. They usually have two tables out in front when the weather is good. And most seats inside are padded bench seats. The food is incredible. Once I tried there, Monte Cristo I couldn’t come back, and I will probably never find out what anything else tastes like! It’s a sandwich of scrambled eggs and sausage patty, between slices of French toast and a side dish. For me it’s two meals as are most of the other dishes. They have parking within steps of front door. Just ask them for a token for your dashboard

Brunch was mediocre greasy-spoon fare. Service was wonderful and friendly, and if you like unremarkable 1970s food, you’ll love Roxy’s.

Stopped trying several years ago. Limited menu, apathetic staff. Food here used to be top shelf. I believe the entitled youngsters have caused so much of this downturn in restaurants. Don’t want to work and don’t care about providing good service for paying customers. Sad.

Not sure what happened, but the food quality plummeted since I last visited. Our order was wrong, my hashbrowns were raw, and the rest of the food was substandard.

The 1-2 star reviews are right. This is not the restaurant it used to be.

Updated 2/10/24 I am beside myself with grief. I just went back today so share the wonderful Reuben with a new friend and I received a few pieces of thinly sliced meat on potato bread. I am broken hearted ? and may never go back. How you could stop serving the most perfect sandwich I raved about below is beyond me but what I received was terrible.(From last year) I may never be able to eat a Reuben anywhere else ‼️ This sammie is breathtakingly delicious.

Slow service, pale hash browns, paper thin bacon, dirty cups, orders not quite right, table too far from booth seat, 3% credit card surcharge, and the capper is that the receipt suggested 25-30% tip (and only those amounts) in spite of all this. It used to be better but it was never fantastic.

Restaurant shares chefs with other restaurants and the food took more than an hour for simple breakfast foods.
