I hosted a graduation party for my husband with 30+ of our dearest friends and Saint John's couldn't have been more accommodating! It was the perfect space for our mix & mingle style event! The drinks were great, the food was great and the staff was just wonderful! I plan events for a living and it was a breath of fresh air from booking to receiving the bill! Thank you, Saint John's!

St. John’s is one of my favorite spots for either a night of drinking with friends or just getting a quick bite to eat. The service is always stellar and I really love the atmosphere that not only looks great, but also has a touch of humor in every corner of the bar that makes me feel like this is the place to have fun and relax. The food is incredible as well, and I don’t think I’ve ate a dish that I didn’t fully enjoy. I recommend the Mac and cheese or the tuna melt!! Totally recommend this place!!Dietary restrictions: I know that they do have great vegan and gluten free options.

I love Saint John’s! It’s one of the Pike/Pine spots that really still feels like a reflection of the neighborhood. Nice welcoming staff and atmosphere, and good food. I don’t live in the neighborhood anymore but I still try to stop in when I’m visiting.

I very much appreciated the personal touch this place gives to even the most irregular requests, like crafting a customized birthday cocktail based on a memory and some flavor notes weeks in advance. I didn't expect that level of care when I reached out to ask what was possible and I was so happy with the process AND end product - a delicious apple cinnamon martini we both greatly enjoyed. Thank you!

This place is absolutely adorable. Kitschy dinosaur aesthetic in a very casual vibes bar with pretty decent food too. Love coming here for trivia and karaoke nights, and have taken many people here for brunch dates.

Margot is amazing! With a line out the door, they were on it making delicious drinks in record speed. The environment is chill. Will be back for good for sure!

An incredibly welcoming place that makes the neighborhood feel like home. Always on my list of recommendations for folks visiting town, as this bar is a prime example of what I love about Capitol Hill.

Margot was an amazing bartender! They really kept the line moving with a smile. By themselves on a HELLA busy weekend, they crushed it and did it with so much confidence and kept my friend and I laughing. Thank you Margot <3

You really need to up the professionalism on your karaoke, folks. Tonight you didn't even think about fiddling with your speakers or starting up until nearly 8:30, and then right before my song was up, you declared that you were taking a "break" at about 10. There are 2 of you. Why do you need a break after not even 2 hours? The gig is not that hard. I'm not going to wait around just so that you can not work for 15 minutes. I'm never coming back to this place. It's a pity, because your song selection is actually pretty good. But the KJs are completely unprofessional.
