First time in Seattle visiting and tried this ice cream shop near Capitol Hill. Even though it was freezing outside it hit the spot?Immediately greeted and luckily had no line. Great friendly service too.Their flavors are very interesting, with seasonal flavors listed on the board. If you wanted to sample a flavor, ask and theyll give u a spoonful sample to try.Decided on a one scoop Honey Lavender and the ice cream was true to its name... The flavors just blend well with each other. Little did i know later on I would go to Portland and visit their original store, but that review will be for another time?

Probably best ice cream I’ve had in a while. I tried the Chocolate Malted Barley Milk and it tasted exactly like a delicious diner milkshake. Also the staff here is incredibly hot and welcoming

This stuff is great! Every flavor was solid and even the unusual flavor combinations were awesome. I will definitely be coming back to see their seasonal flavors. The guy helping us was also delightfully. Very welcoming, kind and patient. Made for an overall great experience.

Hands down best ice cream shop I've ever encountered today. My favorite remains salted caramel. It just oozes with caramel.
The ice cream is fantastic! They have different flavors. Not too sweet. We tried only one flavor (Pear & Blue Cheese). That was great! They are friendly and nice too - they can help you to try different flavors first before you decide one. Note that seats are limited as you can see in photos. So, except that you will stand, chat, and eat :) the ambiance is nice too - no loud music. You can chat with your friends!

I feel like Salt and Straw has always just been an okay ice cream shop for me. There's always a line, and they do have some interesting rotating flavors. I typically sample the seasonal ones, but they never seem to be as good as my go-to which is the chocolate gooey brownie. Even then, I feel like I could get better at the grocery store for cheaper.
