Good beef and potatoes dish. Weird pancakes and eggplant appetizers, but thumbs up for fried dough.

both dishes I ordered for takeout looked and tasted fresh, hot, and delicious:- spicy oil hand-pulled noodles: noodles were SO GOOD. sauce was so flavorful and coated each noodle well. also came with baby bok choy underneath!- bbq lamb: lamb was also super good! each piece of lamb was tender, and all the lamb and onion in the dish was deliciously seasoned.future me would definitely order these again and try other stuff too! note to self to request no bean sprouts for the noodles and no bell peppers for the lamb if possible, just for my personal food preferencesParking: huge shared parking lot with HT Oaktree Market and a few other places - lots of spacesWheelchair accessibility: ground floor, no stairs or steps, wheelchair accessible from ADA parking

Great food and good portion sizes for family style eating. Friendly staff and you can order straight from your table and food comes out in a timely manner. Great place to eat for lunch or on a date.

The service was fast and dumplings and soup tasted incredible.Snacks and appetizers tasted pretty bland. I guess they're priced accordingly, but the photos were way too glamorous in comparison and eggplant was a cold brown mush :(If you're dining in, note that the restaurant does not have its own restroom, and uses that of the adjacent grocery store. Unfortunately it was very gross and did not even have any handsoap when I was there for lunch on Saturday. I understand this might not be restaurant owner's responsibility, but it definitely affected my experience and made me think about the hygiene there.

We were going to the movies next door and we were looking for somewhere to have dinner before the show. We decided to try Shandong Bao House for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised. When you first walk in, the place is not the best decorated restaurant. It could use some updating. The booth benches were pretty far away from the table so we had to sit at the edge of the seat to reach the table. We weren't totally sure if this would be a good experience or not. I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn't for the first impression you get when you walk in. If I just rated the food, I would give it 5 stars. We ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp, Pan Fried Pork Buns, Shrimp Ravioli in Chicken Broth, and the Pork Dumplings. We were a little skeptical about whether it would be good, but when they brought out the Honey Walnut Shrimp I was really surprised by how good it was. The shrimp was nice and large, the breading was really crispy, and the sauce was so good. It is probably one of the best honey walnut shrimp dishes I have ever had. The other dishes were also really good and they came out piping hot. Something about Chinese food coming out really hot somehow makes it taste even better. It could be the impression that it is so freshly made and came right off the stove. We really enjoyed it. I have to say that we live on the Eastside, and we normally don't come to this side of the lake, but I would come back here for the food. The gentleman who was serving us was super nice and polite and came to check on us several times. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience.

First off the flies were insane, food was not very good at all at one point I took a bite and my tongue went completely numb. The water was undrinkable had things floating around. Save your money and go else where.

Everything was delicious! The general tso chicken and the spicy oil pulled noodles were the best. The pork belly was nice as well. The staff were kind, and I liked ordering and paying online. Would certainly come back!

Pleasantly surprised with this place! I was skeptical at first walking in, but it ended up being really nice. The man who served us tonight was friendly and the service was fast. Will be coming here again

I love every dishes I tried there. It's authentic Szechuan (sichuan) food. I am from Sichuan province and I truly think it's authentic and am pretty sure all the dishes are prepared by people from my hometown. I saw some comment regarding the flavor of the dish been salty and just want to share my opinion. First of all, I think you could ask for less salt/spicy level. The owner is super nice and honest. I think he would love to help to make our eating experience more ideal.second, traditional Szechuan/Sichuan food is heavy in flavor, especially been 'salty', 'spicy', 'oily'. it's kind of a location reason as Sichuan is located in a basin area with mountain all around it. It's pretty humid all year around. We eat that salt/spicy and oil level to dehumidify our body in Chinese medicine term. Hope this make sense and helps.

The worse beef noodle I have never had. Only test salty water plus a few meat slides without beef flavor. Don't fool by its picture. Will not order this item again.

My visit was a bit disappointing. I do see that many others have had varying experiences. Some rated this place a 1 star but have improved to a 4 (not even sure why they'd come back at 1 star, but probably had good reason) whereas others went the other way rating a 4 star in the past and downgrading to a 1 or 2. Google reviews looked good, Yelp was questionable. We came because we saw a promotional ad to take $5 off the Pork Bao for spending over $35. We were then told that this only applied to online orders (for pickup). No where on the promotion did they mention for takeout, simply stated that "pickup is available" not that pickup is necessary for the promotion. We ordered online through a scanned QR code inside anyways and there's also a tablet you can order on inside, but nonetheless these don't qualify. That was a red flag.Items:- Egg drop soup 1/5Egg drop soup was pretty viscous, like corn syrup. Pretty interesting with that texture and it was also lukewarm, so not fresh or even reheated, simply served as is.- Pork Bao 3/5Standard dumplings, nothing wrong here.- Hot Spicy Oil Pulled Noodles 1/5Noodles were stiff and undercooked, not sure if it's intentional but definitely tasted wrong. Hard firm hand pulled noodles that were possibly cold and reheated poorly.- Chicken Pan Fried Bun 4/5The pan fried buns are definitely the better items here. The bottoms are seared nicely for an extra crisp flavor.- Barbecued Pork Bun 2/5These looked identical to the beef buns and I was expecting more of a char siu bun. Instead, I just got regular pork inside a bun. Biggest disappointment.- House Beef Bun 3/5Looked identical to the "barbecued" pork bun. No surprises but nothing stood out.- Chili Oil w/ Shepherd's Purse Ravioli 3/5Seems the shepherd items may be entirely vegetarian? Couldn't tell honestly. These were fine, chili oil was standard.

Dishes here are prepared quite nicely. We opted for takeout, but not dine-in, because there were too many flies buzzing around inside the restaurant and the market it is attached to. We are concerned about the sanitation of the location.

The flavors are pretty Decen decent but all the dishes were too salty. Also the tendon is way too chewy, I would not recommend this dish at all.

Absolutely wonderful! Our entire meal was great but I particularly enjoyed the Big Plate Chicken and the garlic broccoli. The chicken and celery dumplings were very tasty, too. I'll be coming back to try more of the menu.

Most of the dish were pretty salty. I don’t recommend the dish with tendon, it was really chewy and hard.
